Hi there everyone, I'm new so please someone send me a response!
My dh and I are trying to conceive but don't know if a. it's possible or b. how to time things.....my dd is 5 1/2 months old and I'm exclusively breasfeeding, only 4 times a day and she sleeps 12 hours at night, so there is a really long break between feeds at night. I haven't got AF back yet but I've had what feels like menstrual cramps a couple of times.
Does anyone have any advice? Thank you!!

Josie cannot advise except to say my personal exp is that bf meant no period (thus presumably no ovulation) till 6mo even with a through-the-night sleeper like yours. Of course you can ovulate and thus conceive before the first period comes iyswim. Others may have better advice, this post will also BUMP you. Good luck.

You are very brave for trying so soon after your baby

I was bfing and was weaning and got pregnant when dd was 9 months, to my suprise.

May be you should try have sex every 2 days, that seemed to work for us.

hi
my periods came back at 6 months once I started weaning I guess and I only had one before I got pregnant when ds was 8 months old so you might not have too long to wait
good luck
