Depo Injection & Pregnancy?

Hi I had my first depo injection about a week ago my doctor told me it takes a week to kick in! The depo should of started working Thursday night and I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend several times over the weekend and I'm just a little worried! Could I fall pregnant or is the depo injection 110% working?

Me and my boyfriend will be happy either way just wondering if it's possible :)

No contraception is 100% effective - if you want that then don't have sex! I've been on depo 3 times and was told to wait 2 weeks each time but my dr might have been over cautious.

Wait 2 weeks and do a pregnancy test just to be sure.

Hi thanks for the reply, my doctors have always told me it takes a 7 days etc and waited after that time obviously lol either way me and my boyfriend are happy, just keeps playing on my mind and thought to come on here for some advice :) thank again
