TTC and need advice

Hi. Me and my husband have been TTC for a while. I went away this weekend and, as it was going to be a boozy weekend and I knew I was due to come on on Saturday, I took a couple of early detection tests on Thursday and Friday, so I didn't have any guilt in the back of my mind, and they were both negative. I know they aren't accurate but I have not come on over the weekend when I was due.I had one spot of blood on Sunday morning but nothing else. I'm normally very regular and normally I start having cramps the day before I come on. I don't feel as though I'm about to have my period.
Has this ever happened to anyone before? Is it worth retesting?

Sure! You can always test!

Are you sure about when you ovulated? It can be delayed by almost anything... stress, change in routine, booze....

I've just looked back on my app and I'm on day 36 of my cycle! I can't think of anything that would have delayed ovulation but as you say anything can knock it off!
I took another test this afternoon and it was negative 🙁. I'm putting it out of my mind and will retest in 3 days if I still haven't come on!
