Sorry to ask but I need some advice on egg white CM.....

I am CD15 and I have had the biggest blob of egg white- I am sorry I am so graphic- but it shocked me!- anyway I just wanted to find out whether it is too late to catch when you have egg white, is the egg already on its way down or is it the perfect time to bd???

From memory (and it is shaky) you need the CM to help the sperm travel on it's way-my problem was I didn't have any

I will - hubby is home and waiting.... will be leaving work in 10 mns... had a bit of a fight last night because he caught me ov testing, I got upset because it was neg but maybe it's because I am ovulating now now now now.. how exciting.. so it is definitely a sign to do and not pack up shop for this month!?

Well, no expert but from memory when the EWCM is there then you are fertile. Whether it means you have already ovulated or are just about to I can't recall. Anyway the sperm can survive inside for a few days so if you are about to then it's probably still a good time. And if not then hey, go do it anyway just for fun.

The eggwhite mucus is pre-ovulation - but it is a very hospitable environment for the sperm and helps them travel to the egg, so they are there, ready and waiting to fertilise when it is released. It is therefore the time to be dragging DP/DH upstairs like some kind of hormonal cavewoman...

thanks everyone- I came home an did an ovulation test and it was neg but i am right in thinking that I may have already had my lh surge and so it would be neg if I have just ovulated.. it was a debatable positive when I did one yesterday... just to over complicate my question!

Thanks londonlottie- I think two doses will be to trick tonight!!! I'm going to stop testing anyway I'm sick of weeing on my hands!!!!!
