BFP then BFN straight after

AF is a couple of days late and I had a bfp on cheapy test this morning. Couldn't quite believe it so did another test, a digital one, half an hour later and got a bfn.

Anyone had this? Also had very mild cramping the last few days, didn't give it much though as AF was due, but it's much worse this afternoon.

Digital tests usually aren't as sensitive. They tend to be 25miu/ml whereas I'm guessing your IC is 10miu/ml?

FMU generally has the highest concentration of hcg, the hormone detected by the tests...

Try again tomorrow morning with first morning urine...

Good plan. And thank you for replying. I was over the moon this morning, spent all day wishing I hadn't done a second test! And now this cramping. I've been spiralling.

I didn't check what it said MrsG. Hadn't really planned to test but got up, thought I'd try and just grabbed one out of the cupboard. Might have been from the pound shop.

Digitals aren't sensitive at all, I didn't get a positive digital till 2 weeks after I was late with 1 last time. Cramping is normal early pregnancy too, so I'd say don't panic and do a FRER in morning :)
