My uterus is aching...

Hi there,

Me and my Partner are currently trying for a baby. We haven't been trying for too long and I don't really expect to fall pregnant first try (despite wishing it was that easy!).
However, I'm about 5 days away from my next period and I'm experiencing what feels like an aching uterus. I suffer awful period pains and while I'm still getting some cramping, this feels completely different.

Can anyone help me understand why this might be happening?

Hi Bemba, I could have wrote this! Forever trying to conceive (feels like it) due on my period on Tuesday, however yesterday and today I have had an achy uterus, last night I thought it could have been a uti developing.
Let's hope this is a good sign for us!

With my 2dc I felt 'wombey' heavy in the uterus, like a constant dull ache. Both times I had my BFP! Good luck

daisybell12: I hope you had more luck than I did as I done a test today when I woke and had a BFN which was very soon afterwards followed by my period, so no luck this month!
