Vanishing lines!

Hi,
I took an ic this morning with fmu expecting to get a BFN as its 19 days since I last DTD and I had a few negative tests at around 14 days, I'm not sure when or if AF is due so have just been testing every few days as have been feeling a bit off.
I followed the instructions on the test and gradually over those course of 2/3 a second line appeared and remained for about 45 mins then started fading, now it's not visible at all.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I checked the insert and it said the test was valid for ten mins only but do I count the result if it fades?

Hmm do you have another test at all?

The picture does look positive but the fading is a little odd as every positive test I've ever had has stayed that way.
I'd take another to be sure.

Yep! Happened to me with this pregnancy with 2 different tests. I tested 2 days before I was due on and both had a faint like then disappeared. Had to get a clear blue to be sure. X

Hi ladies, thanks for the replies.

I went to my drs today as was confused as another test from the same lot did exactly the same. He said that the sometimes fade but it to almost definitely assume I am pregnant and wants me to book in for a scan to see how far along I might be.
