Hi there , Nelli here. Just to say we've had some great news and have been offered a cancellation on thursday for our 'planning appointment' which will enable us to start our treatment(we were expecting to have to wait 4-8 weeks.)
My question is can you start the treatment straight away or do you have to wait for day 1 of your period?! I'm confused as I'm sure when we saw the consultant and our first appointment she said that day 1 of the treatment cycle isn't day one of your mentrual cycle - which would mean we could start straight away?! Can anyone help please?

Nelli30, congrats on getting in via a cancellation. Good luck with it all.

I don't have any advice for you, but I thought I would 'bump' this to the top of the list for anyone who might have missed it.

All the best.

I think it will depend on which protocol they will use.

If short protocol then you start on Day 1 of period. Can't remember for longer protocol as it was 6 years ago! (You think you will remember everything but you don't!).

Good luck with it!
