My tests are getting darker each day woohoo! Picked up my script yesterday from the hospital and the girls on reception at crm nearly made me cry, they know I've been going there 5+ years... first scan booked for 8th June which will be 7 wk scan I think?

Do I need to ring my gp/midwife or do I have to wait until i have had first scan?

We are ok but have just come out of 10 days in hospital. Baby f had an infection and he is still on IV antibiotics. It was scary but he's doing well now.

Imps the thought of TTC makes me yaaawn. Have you got your periods back yet? I don't am still feeding loads overnight. Bit of a waste of effort till then ;)

Scarlett you can phone your GP though I waited till after my scan. Your booking appointment will be at 9/10 weeks so might be good to get it in the diary as some are v busy

Oh and in case you don't remember me I had my brooking baby from ivf no 1 in Thailand in 2013 I think we cycled together and you didn't get to EC :( Since then I had 2 failed FETs and one failed thaw, and then a successful fresh cycle , baby is nearly 8 months

Long story for me but I was referred back to clinic with early menopause symptoms at 38, 18 months ago, they did a laparoscopy and took out my only tube - consultant supported me with a request to fund a DE cycle which was approved!!

And here I am lol! Dunno if it's determination or sheer bloody mindedness

I'm on a 6 month probationary period so they could get rid of me fairly easily for any reason that they choose during that period.

My tests are getting darker every day so I think I'll stop now lol... I can't stop eating [which is annoying as I'm only 7lb away from my SW target!] and I'm still getting random tummy twinges all the time...

I think I'll wait until my scan before I book anything with gp surgery - they are pretty good at telling me what to do so I'm sure they would've said if they wanted me to book anything anywhere else.

You may not remember me either (my brooking baby is 4 now and his older sister is 6) but I lurk (a lot....) and I am constantly delighted by the wonderful news.

So much love to all of you, I'll leave some cake and decaff tea for the preggos and BFers and wine for the rest of us.

Munxxxxxxx fab to see you! Your brooking baby is 4 years old already?? Sadly pregnancy and now useless pelvic floor muscles have put a stop to acrobatics for the time being. Pelvic floor muscles eh. Deffo a case of "you don't know what you've got til it's gone".

AF hasn't returned yet Keep - am still feeding B-B a lot - we're doing baby led weaning and he's not eating to fill himself up yet. He is doing very well with it though - I feel so proud of his solid-ish brown poos . It's weird re: TTC. When I think about trying for a second, I feel a bit guilty that we're being disloyal to B-B, that wanting a second somehow means that we don't think he's enough. Is that really weird? Just odd hormones I'm sure.

Scarlett 5 weeks! I know how you feel about avoiding the p word. I couldn't refer to B-B as a baby for aaaaaaages when I was pregnant. The weird belief that talking about it as though it was real would somehow jinx it.

Imps, those feelings are normal, but it's not disloyal and if you do have a second then you are giving them a friend each for life (and I think growing up with some sibling rivalry isn't a bad thing lol, character building!!)

My scan is on 8th June, nearly 2 weeks, I'm going crackers! I had a bit of a wobble yesterday afternoon, did a test last night & it turned positive while I was still weeing so I'll take that as reassurance all is progressing

Eating like a horse, waves of crashing tiredness, any number of weird tummy pains & twinges and last night I felt really sick for an hour which then turned into trapped wind - I think a lot of it is the drugs though?

I had soooo much trapped wind Scarlett I think it's the progesterone. 2 weeks, feels like forever... Brooking like mad. And c'mon imps, come out of retirement!

F is fine now thanks, or getting there anyway. Though sleep has gone completely to pot. I'm shattered. Ah well

Ps imps I know what you mean. Also does TTC a second mean you're not grateful for the first one. Etc etc
Makes sense to crack on though I guess... X
