I almost put this in arts and crafts, seeing as how we talk about crochet as much as we talk about babies!

This is for you both Scarlett and Loopy. After what you've both been through eh? They build us tough, we Brookers.

ScarlettInSpace · 28/05/2017 12:57

SmileSmile imps you are an absolute legend 😘

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 29/05/2017 13:42

Imps you do make me laugh!

I told work last week, the two bosses were both nice about it, so if I believe what they said, it doesn't affect work, so fingers crossed that's true!

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 07/06/2017 07:19

Had the worst week of my life, my Dad died last Thursday. Been a hormonal mess since. Had our 20 week scan yesterday, was so worried the upset would have harmed her, but thankfully everything was good, very active and wouldn't keep still, so took a while for the sonographer to get the measurements she needed. Definitely a girl like Panorama test said, nod she has very long legs so looks like she is taking after DH just like the boys. Will be 21 weeks on Saturday, just need to get to 24 weeks and then I might start to relax a bit more....or maybe not, but hoping I do relax at some point soon. 17 weeks and 1 or 2 days left until the ELCS will be happening, I wish I could fast forward to then.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

ScarlettInSpace · 07/06/2017 13:29

Oh loopy I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope you're ok xx

I'm glad for you your little girl is staying strong, great that all is well in that regard, look after yourself & her x

I've got my early scan tomorrow, I keep thinking I've imagined it all and there will be nothing there Blush

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 08/06/2017 11:04

Hope you scan goes well Scarlett. It's normal to think there's nothing there, if it weren't for the movement I'm now feeling I'd think the same, had no queasiness at all with this one, and bump only just starting to appear.

ScarlettInSpace · 08/06/2017 19:57

Thanks loopy & I hope you're feeling ok today x

Well the good news is I DIDN'T IMAGINE IT!!! It's a real baby Grin and I've seen it!

Looks healthy and a strong heartbeat, so I've been discharged out into the muggle world! Sooooooo happy Grin OH thinks it's a girl, feck knows how he's worked that out Confused

Hope everyone else is ok, join me in some non alcoholic Wine

Munxx · 08/06/2017 21:18

Fabulous news Scarlett! so delighted for you :)

So sorry Loopy for your sad news but delighted that LoopyLass is doing well in there.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/06/2017 06:43

Omg I started wondering how loopy was doing this morning so log in for the first time in 6 months 😵

Loopy firstly I am so very sorry about your dad. How heartbreaking. I hope you are doing as ok as you can be. Wonderful news about your baby girl. I'm so pleased you are finally getting there xx

Scarlett oh my god! Congratulations!! I have thought of you often. What a journey, brooking that everything goes well x

I hope everyone else is well. Geek, Beedle, Imps and Keep hope those lovely brooking babies are doing well. My little boy is 2 in a few weeks, can hardly believe it. He is amazing and spirited-code for bloody hard work at times WinkGrin I've been hopelessly ttc, trying to not let it get me down as DH will never do IVF again. Am very grateful for my cheeky little boy though Smile

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/06/2017 06:43

Hello Munx! Can't believe how old your ones are now! Time really does fly Smile

ScarlettInSpace · 11/06/2017 16:33

cuuuuuuuuups so happy you got your brooking baby, sorry to hear your struggling for a 2nd -why won't your DH consider treatment again?

loopy I hope you're feeling ok

imps I'm a bit concerned we haven't seen you since your epic display, I hope you haven't done yourself an injury!

Hope everyone else is well, I've relaxed loads since the scan, like I can really believe it now, which is nice. Feel sick as a dog constantly still though Envy and could sleep for England, so I'm just having a lazy Sunday today.

Speaking of dogs, my pooch has always treated me like a bed, usually tried to curl up on my tummy before I'd even laid back, but he stopped even trying to climb on my stomach about a week after transfer and has now taken to sleeping with his head on my tummy instead of his whole self lol, it's very sweet...

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/06/2017 17:35

Oh my god Scarlett he is so so cute 😍😍😍 my dog showed no sign of knowing anything and seemed quite shocked when we brought a baby home 😂

Well it took us 3 cycles to get our brooking baby and the ivf didn't go particularly well. I never got many fertilised eggs and our only egg that got to blastocyst out of all the cycles is my nutty toddler! Never got any Frosties either. My DH won't do it again as he thinks we got very lucky and it probably wouldn't happen again. Our second ivf cycle nearly broke us up. I talk to him about it every now and then but he is not budging at all. I do understand his reasons but still would like to give it another shot

keepitgoing · 20/06/2017 13:54

Oh Scarlett that is wonderful news!! So pleased you are relaxing a bit

Loopy I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. Was it unexpected? Poor you. But lovely that all is looking good with your baby girl. You're over the worst part, I think

Hiya cups. 2 year olds are pretty hard work aren't they!.. I think the baby is usually easier than kip , who's now 3.5! Though he is crawling now, so quite deadly. Lots of bumps.. I can understand your dhs point of view, though I guess he might change his mind as the memories of it fade. It's all so worth it. But if not, you are young and they never found a reason. You just never know....

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 06/07/2017 05:59

Had the funeral and then we went on holiday for a week, was good to escape away from everything. Am getting very tired lately and SPD is not helping. Will be 25 weeks on Saturday and have appointment and scan with consultant today, just hope all is ok in there. She said last time I saw her they'd do CS by 38 weeks, so 13 weeks lefts until she should be born. Still doesn't feel real that we will have a baby then. Getting lots of kicks but just doesn't feel real after all this time. Will be so glad when this pregnancy is over.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

ScarlettInSpace · 14/07/2017 11:02

loopy I'm sorry I missed your post, I'm glad the funeral went ok and you got away for a week to (try to) relax. How have work been?

I had my 12 week scan today, all perfect, and a right little wriggler!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 19/07/2017 19:19

Scarlett so glad it all went ok at the scan! Is it starting to feel real now?

Loopy how are you doing?

Hope everyone else is ok?

Well all change here in the Cups house. MrCups has completely changed his mind on IVF. The result of a heart to heart while stuck in standstill traffic for 2 hours. So we have already had our first consultation and will be looking to start long protocol on my next cycle so probably at the start of September now. I'm feeling a bit excited now Smile

ScarlettInSpace · 19/07/2017 20:14

Oh cups that's exciting! Yes is starting to feel real now, especially since we've started to tell people! I'm still a little bit worried I've made it all up though Blush

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 19/07/2017 20:53

Grin I felt a bit like that! It really sunk in for me once I got a proper bump and could feel baby move. Ahh it's so lovely telling people

ScarlettInSpace · 19/07/2017 22:25

I've made quite a few people cry!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 20/07/2017 20:27

That's so sweet Scarlett, it's lovely how happy people are for you when it's been a long journey. Have you told your DSC? Are they excited?

ScarlettInSpace · 20/07/2017 21:45

Yes they are sooooo excited! We've booked a private scan for next month so they can come and see the baby - DSS is desperate for it to be a boy!

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 20/07/2017 22:06

That's brill, fingers crossed DSS isn't disappointed Grin I found out at 17 weeks as our whole family were convinced we were having a girl. Their only reason for this was because all our siblings have had boys so obviously we were due a girl Confused I didn't want to deal with a load of disappointment at the birth so wants to find out asap. My mum was with us and kept asking the radiographer to check again FFS!
Have you got any preference? I think I sort of wanted a girl. Not sure why, as I was over the moon to be having a baby of any kind. I can't imagine having a girl now though!
