I almost put this in arts and crafts, seeing as how we talk about crochet as much as we talk about babies!

15 weeks loopy that's great. I love that your boys are so pleased. Have you got any more extra scans? I remember the wait from 12 to 20 weeks as being incredibly long.

A is now 6 months Shock and still wonderfully cute. And finally getting good at napping :o

Hey! Anyone still here that remembers me?
Halo

BeedlesPineNeedles · 06/05/2017 15:34

Hi scarlett how's everything with you?

OP posts:
ScarlettInSpace · 06/05/2017 17:20

Hey beedles not too bad thanks! Just thought I'd pop my head in and say hi, it's been a few years!! I think I bowed out of everything fertility related in 2013, where does the time go Shock

Hope you're well, what's new with you?

As for me, Long story but I had to have my remaining tube out last year and was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure, as part of that procedure amazingly I was offered a funded donor egg round of IVF so I'm back on the merry go round...

As a result we've currently got 5 little embys in the embryoscope dividing nicely with ET on Monday, I'm still in shock, I've never got past egg collection before (granted these little beauts weren't collected from me Wink but I feel surprisingly protective over them!)

What's been going on round here then?

Imps9 · 07/05/2017 15:17

SCARLETT yes I absolutrly remember you!!! Was v sad when you said farewell - am so thrilled that you're back on it! 5 embies - fab stuff!! Brooking so chuffing hard.

Loops can't believe you're 15 weeks already! Chosen a name yet. Hope your meds are still stopping any MS.

Am waiting to start dropping eggs again so we can properly get back to it. Only managing to do The Sex about once a month at the moment so we'll need to do a bit better than that I think.

B-B is also 6 months now and he's just fab. I'll definitely keep him.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 07/05/2017 19:59

Scarlett I remember you, but I think I joined not that long before you disappeared. Brooking for those embies, that they are super sticky tomorrow. How many will you have put in? We haven't had twins since Sweetie 😉

Imps, I'm 16 weeks today! God knows how, and just hope all is ok. I've been off pred for 2 weeks now and just come off progesterone. So all I'm on now is 3xmetformin, 1 pregnacare, 1 fragmin injection and 1 aspirin. 4 more weeks and then I can stop the aspirin.

Imps once a month is good going with a 6 month old, after ds1 we didn't do it for almost a year! Fingers crossed for a second miracle BFP for you!

I have a first name and middle name that I love, but need to work on DH...but feel like we are tempting fate to be thinking of names already. Don't think I will shake this negativity any time soon, wish I could snap out of it!

ScarlettInSpace · 09/05/2017 07:30

imps hey how's the gymnastics?? Looks like you got a broiling baby well done Easter Smile

loopy you're 15weeks, congrats Smile

Thanks for the welcome ladies, I am fit the first time since we started trying in 2011 officially PUPO squeeeeee!

Of the 5, 1 didn't make it, 2 looked good but a bit slow so they are leaving them in til today to hopefully freeze, 1 was very good & has gone in the freezer & the 5th was outstanding Grin

Test day next Friday - so far away Sad

Any do's & don'ts for the next 11 days? Got a prett packed schedule so should hopefully keep my mind busy - am working from next weds though and that's the day I thought I'd be testing, Friday is 16 days past EC which seems a long time?

I'm in total new territory here, I know so much about fertility treatment it's scary but my knowledge ends at EC Confused

ScarlettInSpace · 09/05/2017 07:31

Haha broiling = brooking clearly this phone has never been on the site Grin

ScarlettInSpace · 09/05/2017 07:33

Goodness I need to remember to proof read Blush

Imps9 · 09/05/2017 12:35

Yaaaaaay for being PUPO Scarlett!! That's fantastic. My tips for the next 11 days would be to test daily...but I think that's generally frowned upon. Man I love testing though. I may even have PIAR a couple of times in the past few months, just because

Yes I got a broiling (lol!) baby in the end. Had a few early losses, an ectopic, 2 unsuccessful rounds of IVF and Barry-Baxter (not his real name) was conceived by accident the month we decided to stop trying naturally, 1 month before IVF #3 was due to start. You couldn't make it up really.

ScarlettInSpace · 09/05/2017 13:51

Oh congrats imps and well done for stealing your story from the pages of woman's weekly Grin

And thanks for your advice, not very helpful but made me lol Grin

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 09/05/2017 19:54

Testing 16dpo?? Bonkers!!! 10 or 11 dpo would be more realistic Scarlett!!!

So am 16+3 today and had first consultant appointment, midwife at the same time and I ended up crying a lot, was so scared baby would have died since coming off the pred, so the consultant snuck me in for a scan and did it herself, heart beating away and she took some measurements and bang on for the dates. Feel so relieved that she is still alive, and am going to try and relax a bit now. Have 20 week scan already booked for 4 weeks today and then consultant said she will see me every 4 weeks and scan me from 24 weeks, and that will do ELCS by 38 weeks so latest she will be born is 6/10. Feel much happier than I did!

ScarlettInSpace · 10/05/2017 08:09

loopy sounds like you're having a stressful time, also sounds like you're in good hands though, 4 weekly scans should be reassuring? Fingers crossed for you all stays well Wink

I woke up with a big spot on my nose, that's a symptom right?

Am driving myself crackers, one minute all happy positive thoughts, next minute convincing myself it won't work and I should prepare for that... arghhhhhh Blush

Imps9 · 11/05/2017 09:18

Oh LoopyLou it's so stressful isn't it? It's a horrible feeling not knowing what's going on in there isn't it? But the odds are now so stacked in your favour - all will be well!

Scarlett I got my first proper BFP at 9DPO. And the test I took at lunchtime on 7DPO now shows quite a clear line #justsaying

ScarlettInSpace · 11/05/2017 16:49

Hang on there imps did you just stealth announce a BFP??

ScarlettInSpace · 11/05/2017 16:50

Ah no I read it wrong Grin Grin

ScarlettInSpace · 11/05/2017 16:51

I just got funny twinges in my belly button, in fact I'm getting all kind of funny stitch like pains - I'm just worried I'm making them happen with the power of my mind Hmm

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 12/05/2017 20:12

Scarlett it could well be implantation, I always felt that happening ....

ScarlettInSpace · 12/05/2017 20:58

Ah loopy I hope so, the negative ninny in my head has been in full force today Sad

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 15/05/2017 21:25

Have you poas yet Scarlett?

ScarlettInSpace · 15/05/2017 23:06

I did one last week, Friday afternoon which was 4dp5dt but 'twas bfn. Haven't dared since Confused plus have been away with MrS & the dodgie so have been kept fairly busy!

If I don't forget & do an early morning wee tomorrow I will do one when I get up, that will be 8dp5dt...

ScarlettInSpace · 16/05/2017 05:59

Eerrrrrrrrrrrrm that's a line, right?

Never seen one on that side of a stick before ShockShockShockShock

I'm not going mad am I???

The one where the BROOKERS make babies and blankets and hats and other crochet stuff!
Loopyaboutmy2boys · 16/05/2017 12:04

Omg Scarlett!!!!!!! That's a definite BFP!!!!! If you do a frer you will get a bloody good line as it takes ages for the Internet cheapies to show anything!!!!!! Congratulations!!

ScarlettInSpace · 16/05/2017 12:42

I'm going to get an frer today and do it in the morning then I can show MrS [he'd go mad if he knew I did one today, he thinks we should wait til Friday] also a cb digital for Friday so I can see the actual word on OTD Grin

How are you getting on loopy?

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 16/05/2017 17:45

Sounds like a good plan Scarlett.

I'm doing ok, will be 18 weeks on Saturday, next scan is 3 weeks today. I started a new job not long after getting BFP and final assessment is this week, then need to pluck up the courage to tell them I am pregnant, as they don't know yet, I don't have an obvious bump as my fat is hiding whatever is there along with wearing longer line loose tops! SPD is on its way, I'm sitting in a chair all day at work and it's really not helping. Today I had a day off and was able to rest up and lie down for a bit and it's made all the difference. Will be so glad when the training is over as I'll then be based from home all the time!
