I almost put this in arts and crafts, seeing as how we talk about crochet as much as we talk about babies!

trix how's little G getting on, growing bigger and stronger I hope.

loopy your latest news sounds promising, hope you can have a good Xmas and get rat-smacking in the new year.

geek any sign of geekling?

A is getting bigger, 4kg at her last weigh in, and has almost grown into 0-3 month clothes! I've healed very nicely after the cs, been driving since 2 weeks After! I don't really think about it most of the time.

Is everyone ready for Xmas?

40+2 here beedle and no sign of anything happening. Getting very fed up and emotional, just want Geekling here safely now, preferably without any risk of intervention since I've been accepted into the birthing centre. So pleased A is doing well, and has grown so much!

ControlGeek · 20/12/2016 09:37

Possible signs of movement here ladies....

keepitgoing · 20/12/2016 11:06

What signs geek?

Glad a is doing so well beedle. Fatty f has been in 3-6 for several weeks and toes near the end... 12 weeks yesterday

Imps9 · 21/12/2016 06:48

Oooh Geek what signs are you having?

Well done A and Beedles! Great to see A doing well.

Trix hope all is going well. Would love to hear an update.

Not long now until rat smacking can start Loops. Have you had your course of antibiotics now?

All good here! Barry-Baxter is 8 weeks tomorrow. He is also nearly too big for 0-3. It's a shame that he's got so little wear out of some of his clothes.

keepitgoing · 22/12/2016 07:35

Geek?

Imps how are you doing, how's sleep?

Imps9 · 22/12/2016 07:50

We're still bed-sharing for pretty much all of the night and that works well - I always feel like I've got loads of sleep. B-B did spend the entire night in his own bed on Monday (waking up for feeds after 3 hours' or so) which was something of a miracle - the last 3 nights he's not wanted to be in there!

So each night is pretty different but we always have calm and stress-free nights because I know the score now and don't try to force him to sleep somewhere he clearly doesn't want to sleep in. And in all honesty I love snuggling up to him at night :)

Imps9 · 22/12/2016 07:51

(Although I also love being able to sleep on my stomach when he's in his own bed)

Imps9 · 22/12/2016 07:51

How is F?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 22/12/2016 10:17

It's a good thing A is still in small clothes, I haven't bought any 3-6 month clothes yet! Hoping to get some in the sales!

Glad you're getting some sleep imps

geek ???

keep sounds like F is growing very well

Cut the feet off the sleepsuits Beedles and they'll last even longer!

ControlGeek · 23/12/2016 20:36

Sorry for radio silence, just got out of hospital today following emergency c-section in the small hours of 21/12/16 where Hazel Betsan Veronica Geek was delivered. Despite weighing in at 9lb 14oz(!) all doing well and very glad to be home and away from the noisy post-natal ward. Will post more once caught up on sleep.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 24/12/2016 08:38

Oh geek wonderful news, so pleased for you and mrgeek. She has a lovely name. Quite amazing that she weighs more than A already! Hope you're recovering well. Look forward to seeing a picture soon. Much love to your little family.

Though "catch up on sleep" will you be away from mn until 2018? :o

Ohhhhhjh Geek congratulations!! I adore the name (Barry-Baxter may well have been Hazel if he were a girl). I hope the EMCS was calm and not traumatic for any of you.

It's seriously lovely news. Hazel has been a very long time coming and I couldn't be happier for you.

Introducing Hazel GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Quick birth story while P is out giving H a little drive around town! We went to the birthing centre around 7pm on 20/12 after 12 hours or so of contractions lasting about a minute and being about 2-3 minutes apart (yes, apparently this is possible from the word go - they did start off very mild but quickly got quite painful) - that was the reason for no further posts from me, I was just moving from one TENS moment to the next!

Spent about 3 hours in the birthing centre assessment room where it was confirmed baby still wasn't engaged and there was a concern that her head wasn't central above my pelvis. Got whisked off to delivery suite for a controlled breaking of my waters to make sure there was no cord prolapse, with the option of going back to the birthing centre for remaining labour if all was well. Unfortunately the CTG showed that baby was getting a bit distressed with each contraction, and after 20 minutes of monitoring we discussed jumping straight to plan B with the consultant, which was a c-section in order to bring baby out with as little further stress as possible.

While they prepped, I remained on the CTG, flat on my back and not allowed to move so I doped myself up with all the drugs available to get through. EMCS brought H into the world at 00:57am on 21/12. We came out yesterday afternoon and the cats are still in hiding Grin

Very much looking forward to our first Christmas Day as a family of three, as I am sure you are all no doubt looking forward to too (or four in some cases!) xxx

keepitgoing · 24/12/2016 21:25

Kip massively overexcited about FC and only just gone to sleep... Fear a 5am wake up...
F is wonderful - smiley, chatty, gorgeous, sleeping pretty well at the moment. All is good :)
Happy Christmas

Imps9 · 27/12/2016 07:25

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. It was just me, Mr Imps and B-B at ours and we had the best day ever.

Hope Hazel's settling in well Geek Smile

Imps9 · 27/12/2016 08:26

B-B is currently asleep on me, firmly clutching my left nipple in his hand Grin

keepitgoing · 27/12/2016 08:27

Lovely, imps :)

We had a fabulous Christmas too, came back from mil on Xmas day and were just the four of us. Going to my parents tomorrow

trix how are things going lovely?

geek still smiling for you, look forward to an update x

ControlGeek · 29/12/2016 19:07

Hope you all had a fab Christmas, it was just me, MrG and H for the most part, but we brought my DF over to meet H, which was nice.

H is doing well but lost loads of weight in the first few days so we've been on plan 2 to tackle it and she's now putting weight on. Hopefully her final mw weigh-in tomorrow, then we'll be signed over to the health visitor.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/01/2017 15:02

How is everyone?

geek is H putting on weight again? (Does she still weigh more than A?) :o

keep F looks gorgeous in the photos

trix how are things with you? Has G had his operation?

imps how's the lovely b-b doing?

loopy does rat smacking start Soon?

A is still sleeping very well (scared of jinxing things by writing it down). We have our first lot of jabs next week. It's 3 months here not 2. We had a lovely quiet xmas and new year, but my parents arrive tomorrow with a suitcase full of presents and clothes for A :o

Phew Beedle, I thought I'd managed to kill the fred! Is A managing to gain weight ok now? H was 2oz over her birth weight yesterday so we've officially been discharged from mw care, just gp and health visitor now. Today she clocked in at 10lb 2oz on my baby scales! She's also outgrown one of the newborn babygrows but it's so cute I don't know if I have the heart to cut the feet off or just put it in H's memory box as a 'first'.

Sending huge bunches of Flowers to all the other brookers, hope all is good with you all.
