I almost put this in arts and crafts, seeing as how we talk about crochet as much as we talk about babies!

Lovely bump Smile

ControlGeek · 08/09/2016 15:10

trix sorry I've not been around on here, but believe me I've been thinking about you every day my lovely. Very pleased your first round of tests came back clear, and I hope the same is true for tomorrow's as well. You are in good hands, there is just so much they can do these days. I hope you were able to enjoy some of this holiday.

oh keep check out that bump! Gorgeous!

Spoke to the midwife yesterday about being out of breath and heart racing after any kind of activity and she just reckons it's perfectly normal. Said to wait until my 28 week bloods to check for anaemia.

keepitgoing · 08/09/2016 21:51

trix I'm brooking for your results tomorrow

geek, lovely, glad to hear you're OK. How mrG? Hope he's a bit(well, a lot) better. Heart racing and breathless sounds normal enough I'd have thought. Are you taking any supplement anyway? I was just saying to dh today how it's hard to make yourself adjust. I still set off walking at my normal fast pace, but just can't do it (unsurprisingly!)

Have my 36 week appointment tom, they had to squeeze me in so I imagine it'll be a bit rushed. Last time that was my last one - aah, hoping I get a bit longer. Dread to think when my next unbroken night's sleep might be so trying to make the most of these last few now couldn't get back to sleep after 5am this morning

Imps9 · 09/09/2016 07:16

Brooking so hard for your results today Trix. Big hugs to all of you.

Last day before holiday today - I have a billion and one things to do, am working from home because I have a lunchtime meeting and guess what - I can't log into the system from home today for some reason. I got up at 6am so that I could start work to get it all done so that we can get away at a decent time today. I actually feel like crying a bit. So frustrating.

Hope your MW appt goes well Keep

BeedlesPineNeedles · 09/09/2016 13:28

keep lovely bump, hope the mw appointment goes well, and hope it's not the last one. Have you only just realised you can't walk fast? I already can't

trix hope the results are good today

geek lovely to see you

Checking in for news trix x

BeedlesPineNeedles · 12/09/2016 06:44

Hope you're ok trix

keep how was the mw appointment?

imps hope you're enjoying your holiday (not jealous at all!)

We had a busy weekend, party on Sat evening, luckily it started at 5 so it was ok that we left at 9:30! Then we Went to meet one of MrB's colleagues and his wife yesterday, she was Lovely and chatty, and had baked nice cakes (Always important I Think).

Today I'm seeing the Dr at the hospital. I'm expecting a dildocam to check if my placenta has moved - I really thought I might have had the last dildocam at 7 weeks But Everything will be fine as I have my lucky scan socks on :o

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 12/09/2016 13:14

Good luck for your appointment today beedle, sorry the dildocam is making a reappearance. I hope that pesky placenta has shifted a bit for you.

Thinking of you loads trix

Imps and Keep hope you are both keeping well, when does your mat leave start keep?

MrG's DS now knows about Geekling and appears to be over the moon - wants massive amounts of involvement, plans to take time off his work to visit after the birth, all very different to trying to get him to come and visit his own (very ill) father!

Only 4 days left of my second trimester. Where the heck did that time go?!

keepitgoing · 12/09/2016 13:39

Argh a dildocam: hope all is OK beedle

Gosh geek congratulations! That's nice I guess about mrg's son, though a bit odd given how he's been
Is dh any better? How are you feeling?

All good here, I've been on m/l 10 days now, though have kip with me 4/7 days.. We did a big IKEA trip and that combined with washing machine breakdown and kip opening it and flooding the kitchen made for a hectic weekend

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 12/09/2016 15:38

Hope all is ok trix and hope your placenta has moved beedle and good luck for the birth keep. Hope you have bought all you need now Imps!

Not much to say here. Am not ttc until January. Hoping to see Shehata during this break plus Coventry have said they will repeat my biopsy and scratch in case my NK cells are high now (as it could have been a blip that they were low last November ). Had someone phone me about a job that would be ideal as its 10 min from home and 10 min from school (like a triangle between the 3 locations and would be perfect but no guarantee I will get it but they won't be starting anyone until the end of the year so plenty of reasons for a break right now!!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 12/09/2016 16:22

geek nearly the 3rd trimester, that's fab!

keep how lovely that kip wants to help with the washing! Hope there's no sign of the baby coming yet.

loopy the job sounds like it would be great for you.

The good news is the baby is head down and absolutely fine, but the placenta is still in the way. So I have an appointment in 4 weeks to check again and book the c/s.

cartoontrickster · 12/09/2016 16:24

Hi all, no news from me. I was sure the hospital said a week but dh thought it was 2. So looks like he's right. I hate waiting.
N had his first day at preschool today. I ended up staying for the whole session as he got really upset when I tried to leave.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 12/09/2016 16:58

Sorry you're still waiting trix hope N gets used to preschool soon. I'll continue the brooking for good news this week

OP posts:
Imps9 · 14/09/2016 09:13

Aahhh Trix that's so tough when you're geared up to wait for a week and then have to wait for another. Hope N is more settled into nursery now.

Third trimester Geek! Any ideas when you're finishing work yet? V glad Mr Geek's DS has stepped up and is excited about Geekling. As he bloody should be! Is Mr G doing well now?

Keep can't believe you're on the final countdown down. Two of my NCT lot have already had there's but it still seems like months until Barry-Baxter's due, especially as I still have 3 weeks of work left. I think I'm going to start handing everything over when I'm back from holiday on Monday and give myself a bit of an easy ride towards mat leave.

Loops when will you have your scratch/NK cells done? Hope Mr Shehata works his magic.

Beedles any idea when they might schedule the CS for? Are they likely to do it at week 40, or earlier than that??

Having a lovely holibobs. Lovely and hot here. Although I'm pretty sure B-B's transverse as there are two big lumps either side of my bump in a horizontal line. Doing all I can to get him to shift - fingers crossed.

keepitgoing · 14/09/2016 09:20

Oh trix sorry you're still waiting for the results. Is this the first time n has been away from family? I'm sure he'll settle soon, is it a nice place?

beedle good beedette is head down, not that it matters I guess. Do they not book cs until 36 weeks? Gosh. What if you go into labour before the cs? Would they do emcs I guess?

imps def take it easy - I'm definitely feeling physically v tired these days. I'm going to a red cross paed first aid thing today, wearing a baggy top so they don't realise quite how pregnant I am! I tried to ask the mw if she thought I'd make my appt with her next Friday, but she wouldn't be drawn Grin

Enjoy your holiday imps!

cartoontrickster · 14/09/2016 09:34

It's a lovely little preschool, about a 35min walk though (i don't drive) he'll be going Mon & Wed afternoons 12.30-3.30. He loves playing there he's used to the building because the children's centre is there too. He just likes to know I'm near by! He's always mostly been with me or my mum sometimes other family members so it's a big change for him. Wish us luck this afternoon!

keepitgoing · 14/09/2016 16:30

That is a big change for him, hope today was good. Will you spend a lot of the 3 hours walling there and back? Will he get his free hours from Jan, like kip? I can't remember when his bday is

Come on b-b, turn head down, you cheeky thing

Imps9 · 14/09/2016 18:51

Interestingly one of my NCT lot was sent for a scan yesterday because there were two lumps either side of her bump and they thought the baby was transverse. Turns out it's perfectly head down - the two lumps were a shoulder and a bottom Confused. Can't imagine how that all pieces together.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 15/09/2016 07:30

imps babybeedle is head down, but is possibly an octopus as I feel lumps and bumps all over. It was having a good wiggle last night and I lifted up my top to show MrB he thought the movements of my tummy were really gross!!

keep I Think the c/s will be booked for 38 weeks. MrB keeps getting confused when the dr talks about week numbers (Swedes refer to week numbers rather than saying we'll have a meeting 1st week in february - so right now its week 37 and I'm 32 weeks). And I have no intention of going into Labour Before 36 weeks! Though it would have to be an EMCS if I did

trix hope N enjoyed himself yesterday.

I checked with the m/w yesterday about whether we need to take nappies to the hospital as its not on the list they give (I wasn't sure if it was just so blindingly obvious that we would need them or if they provide them) It turns out they provide them, they also provide maternity towels for when I'm in the hospital. So hopefully the ones I have will be enough and MrB won't have to go out searching for more!

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 15/09/2016 08:42

Yes I find it really hard to visualise what the lumps bumps and movements might be.

beedle I suppose I meant if you went into labour at say 37 weeks, if cs booked for 38. That sounds a confusing way of talking about life, would have been easier if the week numbers matched your pregnancy!

trix I hope the results are here soon. Will you have another appointment to discuss? Thinking of you lots.

Girls, I am 37 weeks today. I feel so grateful and lucky that wonderful science has given us the opportunity to have our babies. And thank you all for being there over the past few years.

I am a bit freaked out that I could have my baby basically at any point within a couple of hours, there's just no way of knowing when it will happen

BeedlesPineNeedles · 15/09/2016 10:09

keep so newborn snuggles any time between now and 5 weeks time, we can start sending you messages every day saying "any news?" :o

I Think labour could be rather dangerous in terms of lots of bleeding so I'm not sure what sort of monitoring they will do after my next appointment to make sure that Everything is ok. But I will be keeping my legs firmly crossed in the meantime!!

It does seem quite Amazing that within the next 3 months or so you will have baby #2 and me imps and geek will all have #1

cartoontrickster · 16/09/2016 20:39
