2 day very light period...

We are TTC but only last three weeks.

I was due on this weekend. Came on Friday finished Sunday, really light period . Looked and seemed normal just very light. Slightly more mucus than usual.

I'm normally 5 days very heavy

I know it's too early to test but has anyone else had this? Could it be pregnancy?? Or just a random light period that has never happened before

I had this with my first child, light spotting. Have you used a test yet?

No cause it seems to early surly it would only be 3 weeks at the most.

I thought I was due on as normal as it would literally be the weekend just gone I was due.

Yikes maybe I'll buy a test tomorrow

This would be my second . Not sure why that would make a difference. But first time I fell rapid. Thought it was a fluke

When was the first day of your period before this weekend? Are your cycles normally regular? How long are your cycles normally?

Friday came on and completely finished Sunday

Normally I'm a good 5 days heavy period every 28 days

If your period was due the weekend just gone then a pregnancy test would be likely to pick up a positive result by now, especially if you waited until tomorrow to test with first morning urine. A very unusual bleed like that sounds pretty promising to me - good luck!

My periods normally are so heavy I use large tampons and towels at same time.

Because I don't flush loo at night in case it wakes up the baby husband normally follows me in and says its like a massacre.

This time 4 tampons hardly anything on them say quarter full.

No not been on pill for years.

I'm 38 this year, so probably my luck it's going to be start of change

Are you sure you ovulated this cycle? It is normal to have the odd cycle where you don't and this can cause a light period.

@Grass I know this thread is very old but what was the outcome of your situation? I am experiencing this ATM, been TTC for 2 months and don't know if all hope of a BFP is gone this month or there is still hope? Same as you, usually heavy for longer, only spotted day 1 then ever so slightly more day 2, was pink then went a bit more red like. Today is day 3 and woke up with barely more than a couple spots today. This waiting game is so hard! X
