Hi wondered if someone knew about Follicles, had my 2nd ultrasound this morning and they saw 1 big follicle, bigger than the others which apparently is a very good sign, what happens next.

If it continues to grow to about 20 mms in size it should hopefully release an egg. You should still be monitored closely to check if an egg is going to be released.

The problem with polycystic ovaries is that with this condition there are multiple cystic follicles. Some of these contain eggs, others are dormant and some release hormones.
