Bbt temp elevated, missed period but BFN

Hi. Today is the first day of my missed period and got a bfn - again. My cycle is always 31 days not a day more or less. So I held my breath looking at the pregnancy test but another no this month.

This month we know we had sex at the right time. I ovulate on day 11 of my cycle (ov strips and bbt confirm this) so we had ehem day 12,10, 8, 6.

In between ovulation and bfn I've felt really tired, pee well a lot, breasts were tender for a few days but generally felt good.

This is the strange part. My bbt temp suddenly increased 6 days before my af wad due and stayed there. Today it should of arrived but it hasn't but my temp has remained high.

Thinking it's another month with the infamous bfn. We've been trying for so long. Doctor has done tests on us both and everything came back ok.

Question is could I still be pregnant? Have ladies got a bfp days into their missed period?

Hm.. So you normally have a 20 day lp? Most seem to have around 14 days between ov and af starting. Perhaps you attempted ov at day 11 but it was actually only successful 6 days ago??

Have to agree with PP. Unless you've made a typo there? I think a 20 day luteal phase is pretty much impossible!

The doctor has said that is quite normal. No typo. It is what it is. Luteal Phase is fine as it allows the egg enough to do what it has to do. In the mean time since posting my temp has dropped at its lowest point in 7 days so am expecting my period.

Sorry, I honestly didn't know that I could happen, especially not worn a regular cycle!

Temp back to being elevated. No sure what's going on. Still no af.

Some people get a dip about 7 days after ov (so-called implantation dip, even though it is not, in itself, indicative of implantation). One low temp doesn't mean much...

So it might be that you ov'd 7/8 days ago??

Tatis86, if you are still on here and pick this up, what was the outcome for your remodel running high? I’m having the same thing, a persistently elevated BBT through my period and into my follicular phase….
