Pregnant but brown discharge?

So I'm pregnant and thrilled about it. It's also very very early, used my clear blue advanced monitor four days early and it flashed positive up at me! However, I had a pinching pain this afternoon and now I've got brown vaginal discharge when I wipe along with the odd slightly stringy bit. Has anyone had something like this before? I had what I assume was an implantation bleed with DS but it was bright red spots, not this...?

Maybe different colours for each child sorry not helping. How many days after you did it are you spotting?

I am 24 weeks and I glad this at 6 weeks

You can't have implantation bleeding at 6 weeks flourishing

I was told not to worry about coloured discharge unless it was bright red and lots of it.

Thank you all! It is ludicrously early, three and a bit weeks as I foolishly tested early. Just wanted to check that others had had the same?

You could always ask for an early scan? I had brown discharge at around 5/6 weeks (it was an unexpected pregnancy so I thought this was my period starting!) and it continued on and off till about week 9. I did notice that it got worse when I was more active... I was given an early scan at 8 weeks because of it, was all fine... I now have a healthy almost-3-year-old

I've got the same. My last pg ended in mc so it was horrible to see. A little implantation bleed is normal I think (hope).

Still pregnant so far! DH says I had the same sort of cramps etc with my last two pregnancies so hopefully all will be well!

I had this with both pregnancies at 5-6 weeks. Now have a 2.5yr old DD and am 33 weeks pregnant.
I was told both times by midwife and sonographer at EPU that 6 weeks is actually a very common time for further implantation bleeding.

I had this twice in early pregnancy with ds - now 9mo . Brown blood is usually old blood. With your uterus starting to get ready it's just shedding a little. I don't think there's any need to worry x

I had episodes of brown bleeding at 7 weeks and again at 10 weeks. My midwife said it was just implantation bleeding as a result of the egg burrowing deeper into the endometrium as it grew.
