Early on in 2WW

Hi guys. Thought I would start a new thread for anyone else in early 2WW for support, symptom spotting and venting :) ... I am currently 3DPO .. AF due 5th August .. Hoping she doesn't come ... TTC baby#2 already have DS who is 4 ... Feeling cramps , have a major headache but as well all know these are very common at this stage due to hormones anyway.

Hi Archies1mummy. Am not sure how many dpo I am or even if I O'd as am still bf my Ds but am 6/7 days post DTD so am waiting to test (again). Mind if I join? Good luck to you anyway :)

Hey ZoeB2016 ... Of course , are you having any symptoms so far ? I am charting and using OPK's and got a positive OPK 2 days before ovulation so I'm hoping I have a good chance.

Sorry name changed but its still me. I have noticed that feeding my son has gotten a bit painful which is unusual and had a tiny bit of spotting a few days ago that was very similar to the implantation bleed I had with DS, am trying not to let myself get carried away though as we only DTD once so it's very unlikely. Oh sounds promising with the symptoms as well :) hopefully its your month for a BFP then.

I know it's hard not to get our hopes up ... Implantation bleed sounds promising if that's what it was , you never know that one time could have been the perfect time.

I'd like to join if that's ok?

I'm v early in 2WW - I got positive OPK last Sunday (CD20) so am counting Monday as ovulation day putting me at 2DPO - it's so hard to work this stuff out!! My temps tell me nothing as they vary hugely day to day despite doing it at same time as soon as I wake up, no EWCM etc so the only real indicator I have is OPK testing and a few random pelvic twinges!

Ovia is telling me that AF is due on 2nd August, but telling me to do pregnancy test on the 7th!

Hey Pyjamas81... Did you get a temp spike at all on your temps then. Mine were a bit all over the place but I have managed to work out where I roughly ovulated due to the increase in temp after. I'm just hoping it stays high and AF doesn't show. I have Ovia too but mine tells me to test when AF due which is the 5th. Let's hope neither of ours show!

This is my chart from Ovia - it may be that I just don't know how to read it! I got a positive OPK and static smiley face on CB digi on CD19. Our bedroom fluctuates in temperature massively and has been very cool over last couple of days, surely that makes a difference too?

Hope AF doesn't get either of us, but looking at my temps - I suspect she may be coming.

Hopefully you get your temp shift soon then it does look a bit confusing but like you say the temp of the room will make a difference. I'm using the app Kindara to chart my BBT I find it really helpful as there is a community on there of people who share their charts to and you can kind of see how different everyone's cycles are. Have attached my chart aswell.

I think I have a mental block against graphs ha ha - none of it means much to me!

I'm currently enjoying 2WW - can just relax for a bit before the itch to POAS kicks in! Nice to go out for a couple of glasses of wine with my friend without worrying about rushing home to DTD ha ha

I was just reading through your comments and I wanted to send you all some baby dust!!
I am currently 10 DPO and I'm starting to get a little impatient now. Been having stomach cramps for the last few days and AF is due in 3-4 days. The days ahead will probably drag now xx

Oh yes. As it gets closer to those final days before AF is due that's when the temptation kicks in to POAS. Thank you Littlemissssugarplum , you too. You are a bit further ahead in your 2WW so keep us updated on any symptoms and let us know if it's your month! :)

I think I'm 2-3dpo... Not entirely sure had very positive opk's sun, mon and tues (which I thought was strange?) so don't really know when to count from as didn't do the temperature thing!!
Cycle 4 for me ttc # 2. I know its not a long time but got pg by accident with no 1 so had naively assumed it would happen straight away and just wish it would hurry up!

Anyways fingers crossed for us all this month :)

Hi Steph! I'm at exactly the same point as you - 3dpo (I think) after super positive OPK on Sunday. Assuming I ovulated on Sunday due to pelvic pangs, but I'm just guessing! When are you testing?

Sorry - I meant I assume I ovulated on Monday!

I've tested already 😳 negative of course!

As far as I know you are supposed to take the first strong positive as a positive OPK .. With that being said you don't necessarily ovulate on the same day as a positive OPK it can happen 12-36 hours after. So yes charting does help to get more of a idea on exact Ov but as long as you BD around those days there is always a chance! I hope we can get some BFP's in a few days time.. Finova - I know the feeling lol

Yeah I'll definitely try and do temperature next month if this one doesn't work, I just always forget in the morning! We did BD every day anyway so hopefully it was enough but we'll see! Ive really tried this month, been taking my vitamins and so has my OH (I think), he's not been allowed hot baths and I even did the whole legs in the air thing after which I have no idea if works but worth a try!! My Oh things I've lost the plot...

I am going to try hold off testing until the two week mark because I tested early last month and I just got really depressed seeing negatives, plus spent a small fortune!

Ah still very early Finova , fingers crossed it will change in a few days :) when is everyone else due to test?

You have to put the stick in the holder, wait for a flashing symbol then remove stick and pee on it. Then put it back and hold a certain way!
I opened it and peed on it straight away- £5 down the drain oops!

I have what feels like period pain this morning :( Im beginning to feel a little bit gutted xx

Littlemiss I feel the same today and really deflated because of it. I will keep fingers crossed for both of us that its not AF x
