Hope this isn't a stupid question!! I'm testing ovulation this month for first time. I'm cd 12 and so far negative ovulation tests. Today I have ewcm, should that happen at same time as ovulation or how long before???
Don't want to dtd unless highly fertile.

Hi, are you getting any test line come up at all on the opks or is the test line still white?

It's normal to have faint lines ( negative tests) during you fertile week and only getting a true positive (darker/as dark as control line) for a very short time. It can last just 12 hours for some people so its important to test twice a day (and not with fmu).

The ewcm usually shows before you release the egg so before the positive test too.

Also just as a tip keep dtd for 2 days after the positive opk! It can take 12-36 hours to release an egg after a positive op and then the egg can live for another 12 so best to carry on dtd just to cover all possibilities Grin

Hope that's helped x
