Boris it was the 20 week one today and it all went well thanks, everything looks healthy and we're having another boy. Just the detailed heart scan on Thursday now!

Genghis I'm so glad you finally got the wedding that you wanted after all the trouble you had with it! Are you off on honeymoon now?

I've really missed the support on here it's a lonely old world this TTC business.

My GP called today and wants me to do the dreaded dildo cam/ultrasound scans once they have come back she's going to look into the fertility tests so things are moving along now

Magpie that's great news, and now fingers crossed Thursday goes well as well. Also, congratulations on the baby boy news - how exciting! We're planning our honeymoon for the end of the year but nothing booked yet - unfortunately DP had to leave on Saturday for four weeks abroad for work :(

Freckle It sure is lonely isn't it? I'm glad you've come back. Good news about getting the scans done, it feels good to get things moving. Any idea when your appointment will be?

Thanks everyone, was not as bad as i thought, had an internal scan first and everything looks normal and then the Hycosy, i could feel it and did feel like period pain when she was moving the dye around it was not as bad as i thought, tubes look fine but they did say the shape of my womb looks abnormal slightly but nothing to stop me getting me pregnant,

Rainy - glad to hear you are ok. Also glad there isn't anything obviously 'wrong' although sometimes a diagnosis could be helpful.

Magpie i have three months worth of Clomid to try plus a month that i saved when dh was not feeling great, go back in january and then start the motion for IVF , hope you are ok? hope your scan goes ok!!

Boris i know what you mean , about having a diagnosis, hoping the dye has flushed things through but my gut feeling is still progesterone crashing after ovulation how are you?

All went well, it was very detailed and the doctor couldn't find any abnormality. Such a relief! Thanks everyone!

Rainy that's a few good shots with the clomid then. What dose were you/will you be on?

Hey all, just popping in to catch up. Got back from my hols at the beginning of the week and there was a letter waiting for me from the X-ray dept, my appointment is next Wednesday.. It's great it's so soon but I'm already thinking about what happens next if my tubes are clear..... I really don't want to have a laparoscopy and I don't know if there's anything else they will offer me. I guess I'm just worried that I'm putting myself through these tests and might not be any closer to getting any answers at the end of it.

DizzyN I hope you enjoyed your hols? That is great news that your appointment is so soon though I understand the conflicted feelings. It's so weird, in one way you want them to find a reason and in another way you don't. I was exactly the same.

Magpie hope all is well with you, i have 50mg of Clomid, my consultant also told me to use ovulation sticks with the clomid as well, which i thought would not work and questioned it and she said they will work fine,

Dizzy good luck for the scan, my tubes came back clear, are you having a Hycosy? if so iv been told it can clear them out and sometimes can help to get pregnant

Hi rainy it was a hsg, however.....

They wouldn't do the scan last week . Basically, you aren't supposed to have sex during your cycle before the scan. As my appointment was so quick (two weeks after letter arriving) and because of my long cycles it was too late as we'd already dtd on holiday. I was honest about this with the nurse (stupidly as I knew I hadn't ovulated yet and we'd not dtd for 2 weeks by this point) and she said they couldn't. She was really nice however and said if I phone them on the first day of next AF they will squeeze me in on the next available date. Grr! Sometimes I think these things happen for a reason though so I'm not too worried.

Aargh! So frustrating DizzyN though I suppose it's better to be safe than sorry. I had to have a blood test the day before mine to prove I wasn't pregnant even though it also had to be done within the first 10 days of your cycle so I definitely hadn't oved. At least they'll try and get you in soon though - silver linings and all that. I'd say have a glass of wine to cheer yourself up but I guess it's a bit early!

Freckle have you heard anything about your next appointment?
