Gosh how busy!! Welcome all newbies, happy to have you here with us Smile Where is everybody up to with everything?

Robber Congratulations!! What fantastic news Flowers

Bluebird if it makes you feel better we've had 2 specialist appointments since our referral and all they've done so far is the exact same tests your GP is doing so it probably makes no difference for you time wise. Where are things up to now?

Boggle so so sorry to hear about your friends, that's so awful. How long is it now until you test?

Have a wonderful holiday Amy

Well still no news here, period hella late again and showing no signs of coming (& not pg). Plus I need tp have a break from all the stuff I was taking that helped me bc it's all so expensive... Trying to stay positive and see it like maybe the mental 'break' may help.

Hi dani, I think I'm going to test on Wednesday which will be cd30, 13dpo. Woken up with a really sore throat today so I've sacked off the gym and gone back to bed for a bit. My legs and lower back have been achy for a few days and been having a few mild cramps every so often but nothing major. Just hope I get some good news this week coming. Xxx

I'm starting to feel less hopeful the closer we get xxx

How are you feeling today Boggle? Thinking about you and sending lots of love.

KBook where are things up to for you?

Well I'm on CD 40 & no sign of AF Sad Going to chase up all my appointments in a minute - other half's second sa is supposed to be around 15 Oct but when I called the hosp last week they hadn't even received the referral letter (which we requested at a GP appt on 02 Sep and were told would be sent straight away) & then the GP receptionist started trying to tell me I could have another appointment in 3 weeks to request another referral!! Thankfully I managed to get her to put me on the duty doctors phone list and spoke to somebody the same day (last Weds) so I'll ring the hospital again to make sure they've got it this time.
On top of that we haven't received our letter for our next specialist appointment which should be around 15 Nov and I'm sure we'd received the letter within a couple of days of our last appointment last time...

YouBoggleMyMind · 26/09/2016 14:30

Hi dani, thanks for asking after me. Not feeling well today. Sore throat, achey and generally under the weather. Today is cd28, 11dpo. Had the odd cramp here and there and checking for reddy/brown discharge every time I go to the loo, but nothing.

Sounds like a good plan, chasing up what's going on. All the waiting around must for next steps is frustrating!

I might cave and test later...

KBookworm · 26/09/2016 16:45

Hi both :)

Sorry to hear you aren't well still Boggle, hope you feel better soon. Sending really positive vibes if you decide to test later.

Sounds like a nightmare doing all that chasing up dani! Keep on at them, the more they hear from you the more fed up they'll get and sort it out!

Started taking Angus castus on sat and had the first few drops of af today which I thought was good as I've had nothing in months.

I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself today. I've checked my bbt all month and I've no clue how to read it but I'm pretty sure I haven't ovulated.

Here is my graph:

Thank you k, cancelled plans with my girls tonight cos I feel crap. One of my besties is pregnant and I don't want her to get it either! She's got about 6 weeks to go.

Glad AF is putting in an appearance! I hope the agnus cactus helps.

Xxx

definitely keep chasing them Dani. My GP agreed to send me to the fertility clinic really easily, but I had to chase the paperwork at every stage to get the right letters and tests sorted.

satsooma · 26/09/2016 17:23

Got my fingers crossed for you Boggle. I am so impressed with your willpower to hold off testing! Did you make it past the baby shower yet?

YouBoggleMyMind · 26/09/2016 17:39

Ha thanks, I am nervous for the result and testing too early then AF turning up but then desperate to know!
Baby shower is Saturday. Xx

Can I join your thread?

I'm 31, was diagnosed with PCOS in 2012.

I have not had a genuine period since coming off the pill in 2012 although I got pregnant (unfortunately lost it) in 2015.

I've been trying again since mid July and have been trying acupuncture on a 2 weekly basis since then.

Im at a healthy bmi, I don't have acne or hursuitism or show any outward signs of having pcos.

So there it is. I have no idea where I could be in a cycle. I get the odd but of spotting for about 1 week out of every 4 and that's about it.

My next doctors appointment is in 4 weeks so hoping she might be able to shed some light.

In the mean time hoping that the metformin, along with inositol and acupuncture will do its job

YouBoggleMyMind · 26/09/2016 19:03

Hi difficult, welcome and the more the merrier Smile

Sounds like you're in a good starting position with healthy bmi and getting a Drs appointment in the next few weeks. Get some bloods done and see if you can get a referral onto your fertility clinic.

The ladies on here are so supportive and will help any way they can.

KBookworm · 26/09/2016 20:11

Welcome difficult, sorry your having problems ttc.

What dose of metformin are you on? How are you finding it?

Difficultyear2015 · 26/09/2016 21:26

I'm on 1500 mg per day and been taking it about a month now.

Seemingly it's fine. I've noticed i don't have much of an appetite on it.

The best we can do in the mean time is to DTD every other day to ensure if anything does happen with ovulation we have as good a chance as any of catching.

I haven't POAS for nearly two months as the disappointment is just too much

KBookworm · 26/09/2016 21:45

At least it didn't make u sick as it makes me terribly ill whenever I forget one or start taking it after a delay!

It's a viscous circle isn't it because the more you dread it and get stressed the harder it is to conceive :(

Elly1685 · 26/09/2016 21:57

Hi ladies,

I recently posted on my own thread and the lovely robberbride has directed me to you on this thread - so after about an hour trying to update myself with what is going on....ill tell you a bit about myself and also apologise in advance if I ask questions that have already been asked or sound a bit stupid :)

So - im (obviously) TTC. I've been on the pill for 10 years and stopped taking it 4 months ago - no AF since then. I was diagnosed with mild PCOS when I was 18 as I have never had a natural period and so was put on the pill to kick things off. because of this my gp is sending me for bloods tomorrow so I'm not sure what will happen after that.

I've seen that many of you are on medications which I'm guessing will be the next step for me due to a major lack of AFs. I already know that this journey is not going to be an easy one BUT a close friend who has been through the exact same thing (and IVF) has two beautiful children so I'm staying hopeful! Also Im sure there will be a lot of support from this thread.

I have seen some of you are taking inositol - is this available to buy online/worth it?

Any other advice?

Thanks xx

YouBoggleMyMind · 27/09/2016 10:06

Hi elly, welcome.

I've not taken inositol so couldn't tell you. Other than taking vitamins, I've been a bit scared to take anything else. Especially as I'm on metformin and clomid.

So I did a test on Sunday which would be 10dpo and yesterday which would be 11dpo. Both negative. TBH I'm kinda glad they were as I'm just scared to see anything positive before AF should turn up. Still sat waiting for AF to turn up but no signs so far other than on and off cramping which I've had for the last week.

Ladies, anyone there?

OP posts:
satsooma · 27/09/2016 18:25

Hi Boggle. Sorry, busy at work today! I'm just going to repost Robber's link about the accuracy of testing before 14dpo. www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/When-can-I-expect-a-positive-HPT-if-I-am-pregnant.html

Give me a couple of weeks and I am going to be doing the exact same thing, but 11dpo is way to early to be getting worried. xx

YouBoggleMyMind · 27/09/2016 18:30

No worries satsooma, hope you had a good day.

I can't talk about this in real life but... I'm 12dpo... you can see the line right?

I'm too scared to tell DH for fear of AF turning up but I've had no symptoms of that happening like usual...
