ladybump/wrighty is going mad!!!does anyone else see lines that aren't there on PG test?

2 dates late for AF. had spotting which stopped (very wierd) and now BFN, i think. No second line, definatly not, i think.

They can sometimes be so faint that you think they aren't there though...

I'm not listening. can feel hopes rising and that's really not good.

You know you have to do another test don't you?

I know. I'm scared.

And anybody could understand you being scared after the horrible time you have had.

FWIW with this baby the line was so faint I had to hold the stick up to the light and squint a bit and I still didn't believe it.

Do you have any other tests?

Hello Stranger! wondered how you were doing? Might still be too early hon, test again in a few days. Exciting, everything crossed for you.

My DH would go mad if he knew i was thinking this but he's going away tomorrow til sunday so i can obsess to my hearts content. I've had spotting period pains and abfn which is enough for him that i'm not pg. please tell me if you think i'm clinging onto false hope.
I've got another test which i'm gonna do on Sat if still no AF. Sure i'm imagining line though.

Leave it a for a couple of days (if you can) and then test again before your DH is back then you'll have more of an idea....hopefully a nice surprise on his return.

I was CONVINCED that I saw a line on my clearblue on Sunday as the wee was working it's way up the test.
I was actually deciding whether to wake DH up there and then or let him sleep for a bit longer....but it disappeared just as quickly so I guess it was my imagination!!
Piggin' things these tests aren't they??!!

I used to pee on the digital ones, then pull them apart to look at the insides if they came up negative .

I must admit I saw quite a few evap lines that got my hopes up.

My AF arrived on thursday night and shattered my dreams yet again.

I had a long chat and cry with my counsellor woman and went into work on friday to find two of my colleagues were pregnant.

This sparked off a complete emotional breakdown and I ended up telling my gobsmacked boss all and getting sent home. Feeling like crap today. Embarrassed and dreading work on Monday. Even though they said they're not expecting me, I'm going in. i won't let it beat me. life has to go on.
It's bloody hard being a woman sometimes.

I'm so sorry .

And FWIW, I remember exactly how it feels.

Don't be embarrassed, just go in on Monday and start afresh.

And remember you're not alone.

anewme - sorry to hear about AF It is bloody hard being a woman, we all feel for you.

Evaporation lines on some tests can be quite dark. The only way is to test again and see if the line gets darker... A LOT darker. I used to be addicted to pregnancy tests when TTC. Just couldn't wait..
