AF due 20th July / 5DPO - Who Wants to Test With Me??

Hello!

Some of these threads are HUGE and I'm feeling a bit lost, so I'd thought I'd make a new one for anyone who is due their AF Wednesday 20th July (or thereabouts!) and are 4/5 DPO.

Symptoms so far
1-3DPO - Nothing
4DPO - sore boobs and lots of clear CM (sorry!)
5DPO - very sore lower back right in the middle, sore bbs + AF style cramps

A little about me... I've suffered x2 miscarriages over the years, one at 6 weeks and the other at 10 weeks (had a D&C). Horrible experience but hoping for a sticky bean this time! So technically I'm trying for my 1st.

Would love to know a bit about you as well and hope we can test together - and try to keep sane while waiting! Good luck everyone

I've been testing on IC and all BFN, AF due tmw but no tests left to test today.... More in the post! Temps are above normal but not up where they have been. No bloating or anything today, actually feel normal where as the last few cycles between ovulation and AF, I've felt like a big progesterone balloon!

AF arrived for me too, a day earlier than last month (and 6 days earlier from when I first started this thread!) I'm definitely going to the doctors just to voice my concerns really. No Ov and periods are getting earlier & earlier despite always being regular (20th of each month)

Sorry to hear about the BFNs swimming. Keeping my fingers crossed AF stays away and you get a positive tomorrow.

Sorry about AF mighty I hope the doctor is helpful. Irregular cycles are so frustrating!

Sorry that your our this month mighty hopefully the Dr can give you some answers or do some tests.

AF bang on time this morning... Oh well at least it was a normal 27 day cycle. Back to it! 😊

How are you all getting on ladies? I'm in CD12 today and got an unexpected solid smiley, no flashes this month, not sure what I can read into that? xx

Hey swimming what day did you get the solid smiley last month? I think the two hormones can rise at the same time resulting in going from low to peak without a high reading in between. Fingers crossed it's a good sign for you!

I'm CD10 today. I ovulated on CD13 last month but no positive OPK yet. Hoping to get a darker line tomorrow.

Last few cycles solids have been day 14, 18, 12 and 12 so I only know why I was so surprised, I think just used to the run of flashing smileys. I've done an ic tonight and it's definitely positive, just feel like I've missed the boat a bit, obviously haven't but have usually done the deed loads by solid smiley. CM not really present, just overthinking lack of oestrogen or something. I'm booked in at doctors for day 21 blood tests so nothing more I can be doing other than getting on with it!

CD 13 feels good so you should get your positive before the weekend, fingers crossed xx

I think the lines on the IC OPKs are headed in the right direction so if it follows the same pattern as last month, I should get a positive tomorrow.

When I used the Dual Hormone OPKs (used them for cycles 2 & 3), I always went straight from low to peak. It really confused me so I stopped using them as it wasn't tying up with the ICs either. But on reflection, I think with me it was due to my body not having returned to normal yet after having the implant removed. If you're also getting a positive OPK, I think it sounds like your surge with both hormones has occurred at the same time so it's just skipped the high stage. I wouldn't worry too much about it . Good luck with the 21 day bloods, with any luck you'll be preggers this cycle anyway!

Hi ladies, so I've not been around for a while. Hope you're all well? Had a really busy month and just catching up. I tried temping this month and found it really useful. I used fertility friend and it calculated ovulation on cd22. I just switched off this month and I really didn't obsess about DTD like I usually do. We managed pretty much every other day in the FW and then again the day I got a positive OPK. So anyway, today I'm 12dpo and just tested with fmu with an ic and got this. It came up within a few minutes
I don't trust ic as I've heard a few stories about evap lines etc. What do you think?

I'm pretty sure! You said it came up within the timescale, didn't you? Get a FRER to confirm

We weren't lucky enough to conceive our Vegas baby and are now taking a break until after xmas before trying again, but will pop by every now and then hoping to see more BFPs from everyone x

Yes it was there within a few minutes. I will wait for fmu again tomorrow. It's going to be such a loooong day!

Thank you for replying JB. Hope you had an amazing time in Vegas. I've been once and would love to go back. Yes fx for everyone in the 2ww. I don't know what to do with myself! DH is downstairs and I've not said anything to him yet. We were so much more relaxed about things this cycle and he doesn't even know when I'd be testing etc. Dont know whether to tell him or wait until I've tested again tomorrow. Don't want to get his hopes up and then feel stupid if it's not a true result. What do you all think?

Poppy given that it's a good line on an IC, I wouldn't wait until tomorrow. I reckon you'll get a line on a FRER without needing FMU If you can wait, that's fine but I'd be too impatient!

So I went to boots and got a frer. No doubting this one

It got even darker after 3 mins. Is this dark for 12dpo? I haven't told him yet. We've got people here and I snuck off to do the frer. Literally sitting upstairs in shock!
I definitely had a few different 'symptoms' this month but ones you could put down to anything I suppose. I've had a massive appetite, on about 4/5dpo I got a bunged up nose and a spot! I haven't had a spot in ages. Also had a bit of watery/creamy cm (sorry if tmi) I'd definitely recommend temping if you don't already do it. I had a positive ppl and temping confirmed ovulation then I stopped as I didn't want to stress and obsessively check my charts.

Omg how exciting! It's must be so hard having to go back downstairs and act normal with your guests. I'd be absolutely hyper and probably in shock! x

I agree re temping, this is my second month doing it & I find it really useful
