Hello!

Some of these threads are HUGE and I'm feeling a bit lost, so I'd thought I'd make a new one for anyone who is due their AF Wednesday 20th July (or thereabouts!) and are 4/5 DPO.

Symptoms so far
1-3DPO - Nothing
4DPO - sore boobs and lots of clear CM (sorry!)
5DPO - very sore lower back right in the middle, sore bbs + AF style cramps

A little about me... I've suffered x2 miscarriages over the years, one at 6 weeks and the other at 10 weeks (had a D&C). Horrible experience but hoping for a sticky bean this time! So technically I'm trying for my 1st.

Would love to know a bit about you as well and hope we can test together - and try to keep sane while waiting! Good luck everyone Smile

Eek swimming these symptoms all sound very promising! I have high hopes for you getting that elusive BFP. Fingers and toes crossed!

Had a fab holiday thanks purple. Absolutely shattered with he long haul travel home but still in fertile week so . . .
3rd day in a row of positive OPK so not really sure if ov has happened or still has to occur. Wish I could temp to know for sure but I think night shift with would ruin the charts.

Hi elles hope the 2ww isn't too much torture for you!

Elles85 · 09/09/2016 16:28

Hi swimming I could swear I'm having all the symptoms you are but minus the blood! Not sure if its too early for me to be feeling like this so who knows. I'm on cd 21 as well. Don't know when to test Confused

Justkeepswimming99 · 09/09/2016 17:40

I'm testing with cheapies every morning but might go out and treat myself to a good one for Sunday morning!

Be strong JB, you can do it! 😉

Elles85 · 09/09/2016 18:09

It just feels like it's really dragging JB. I'm trying to concentrate on other stuff but it seems to be taking over my life right now.

Swimming I think I might treat myself too on Sunday. It's a bit early but I'll get the frer one Wink

PurpleHaze1 · 09/09/2016 19:12

Oh swimming everything crossed that those are early pg symptoms & not imminent AF! The extra rise is a good sign (I think Hmm). Keep us updated with the daily tests Grin

4dpo so nothing to report but the crosshairs did appear on FF yesterday so it's confirmed ovulation on CD13. I've attached my chart. I'm obsessed with looking at other charts online to see if mine looks good or not... Seems to be inconclusive! I'm planning first test for Thursday when I'll be 10dpo... Less than a week, just need to keep myself busy Smile Hope you can find a way to distract yourself too elles

Glad you had a good holiday JB

Good morning ladies. So I've just been sick and I never vomit! It seems to early to test but i might have calculated wrong this month. Its a good sign right? Grin

PurpleHaze1 · 10/09/2016 08:23

Morning elles if you've got enough of the pg hormone to make you sick then it'll be enough to show up on a test! Grin Oooh! I hope you've calculated wrong & this is it for you. Keep us updated Smile

Elles85 · 10/09/2016 08:55

Really Purple?! I didn't know that. I think I'll go and buy a test now. I'll let you know Smile

Justkeepswimming99 · 10/09/2016 09:26

I think that's a fine and consistent looking chart Purple.... Unlike mine which has gone bonkers! BFN this morning but prob too early to be testing! let us now Elle's, fingers crossed!

Thanks swimming I'd feel more confident if we'd managed to DTD the day of ov but DD was unwell so it wasn't possible. Hopefully the 2 days before was enough. I've had a small rise again today, just hope it keeps going up Smile

Are you 9dpo? Probably too early to test, I'd wait & test again Monday Grin Everything crossed for you. I think the fact that your temp keeps rising is a good sign!

JB1983 · 10/09/2016 16:45

A promising symptom elles. Excited for the testing to begin!
A temperature rise is also promising purple.
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend x

Elles85 · 11/09/2016 13:04

Good afternoon ladies. So I tested with a frer and a boots own brand. I'll attach the pics.

I don't know if there's anything there on the frer one but I can see two lines on the boots own brand which I find strange!Confused

Elles85 · 11/09/2016 13:19

My 2 tests

PurpleHaze1 · 11/09/2016 15:50

Ooh elles, I can see a line on the first pic Grin Is the first response one definitely the Early Response kind? Similar happened to someone else on another thread (one positive but negative FR) & it turns out the FR wasn't the ER kind so it wasn't as sensitive. I think the packaging is very similar

JB1983 · 11/09/2016 16:27

I see a line in the first one too elles. Weird that the frer would be negative though, thought it would be the other way around.
Are you going to test again tomorrow?

Elles85 · 11/09/2016 18:41

Purple I had a look at the box and it's definitely the early response so I don't know. The boots test was also an early result test but I still thing frer is more sensitive. I'll have to wait and see.

JB i thought that too so I'm gonna wait till tomorrow and try again. FX

PurpleHaze1 · 11/09/2016 20:32

That's strange elles Confused There's definitely a line on the boots one so I would take that as a great sign! Test again tomorrow & let us know. Fingers crossed for you! Grin

MightyLightningMouse · 11/09/2016 22:32

Hi Elle, I can see squinters on both!! Fx let us know how you get on!

Still no + on ovulation tests, boo! No symptoms apart from insanely sore boobs. Who else is testing soon and what day? I'm deffo trying this temping lark next month Grin i hate not knowing what's going on!

JB1983 · 12/09/2016 08:13

what CD are you on mightly? How frustrating not knowing when you ov.
I won't be testing until next week, this week is going to drag so much! Hopefully being back at work and studying at night will make the time pass quicker Hmm

PurpleHaze1 · 12/09/2016 08:38

I'm planning to test on Thursday at 10dpo. Or I might hold off until Friday depending on how my chart looks. I definitely recommend charting mighty. I've actually found it's made me less obsessed as I know I've ovulated so it's just a waiting game. Previous months, when using just OPKs, I second guessed everything as I couldn't be sure if the surge definitely meant I ov'd &/or when exactly. Or even if what I thought was a positive OPK definitely was!

JB1983 · 13/09/2016 07:53

Did you test again elles? Fx for Thursday purple, are your temps behaving?
Had a bit of a difficult day yesterday, a colleague (and friend) told me that she was expecting with a surprise pregnancy and whilst I am over the moon for her our department is already short staffed and don't think it would cope with us both on maternity at the same time. If I am pregnant from this cycle then I will be delighted as I didn't knowingly conceive knowing it would put my work in the shit but if it hasn't happened this month then I think that we will be putting off trying for a few months as I couldn't face the guilt about the position it would put others in at work. So frustrating as my colleagues was an unplanned pregnancy and having a baby is all I can think about at the moment Sad

Elles85 · 13/09/2016 12:19

Bad news for me ladies. I had another bfp followed by bfn. Doctor said it was a chemical pregnancy and then af just turned up about 5 mins ago Sad So it's on to next month for me. Good luck to everyone else though Wink

PurpleHaze1 · 13/09/2016 14:42

Sorry to hear that elles Sad

That sounds like a tough work situation JB. How far along is your colleague? I totally see where you're coming from but I think I would probably keep trying. Although hopefully you'll get a BFP this month and won't have to think about it Smile. If you do (& it's what you want), you could potentially have a great job share situation presenting itself after maternity! Grin

PurpleHaze1 · 13/09/2016 14:44

My chart is still looking OK thanks JB. I had a couple of lower temps the previous couple of days (still well above coverline) but it rose this morning to the highest yet. Of course, I've googled this and it seems to be pretty standard and not necessarily indicative of anything! So still waiting until the end of the week to test...

How are you getting on swimming?

JB1983 · 13/09/2016 18:55

Aww so sorry elles
