Missed miscarriage last month- TTC & no idea!

I'm 1 month on from a MMC, had medical treatment. Discovered at 12 + 5 at the dating scan.

Me & husband agree we will TTC straight away. Trying not to panic as I'm now 38!

We have a 2 year old already- conceived almost as soon as I stopped taking the pill (which I had taken for a good decade & a half!)

This most recent pregnancy, I fell pregnant literally straight after stopping the pill back in March.

So I have no idea re my cycles.
So far, history has shown that I fall pregnant v quickly.
But I worry that my luck has ended with the MMC Sad

I have bought OPKs off the internet but have no real idea whether they work or how you interpret if it's a positive/weak positive etc.

I know I should just go with the flow but I can't but help to feel under time pressure now regards my age.

We were lucky to never have had this before- we barely got started TTC before it all happened.
I know we have been v lucky in this sense.

Any practical tips?
Don't know how keen I am to take daily temperature or check cervical mucus etc!

Also, if/when I do fall pregnant, I know that I will simply expect bad news from each scan.

Having had a complication free first pregnancy, my eyes are totally wide open to some of the shit that can happen!

So sorry for your MMC. That must've been an awful experience to go through. Sadly it can happen to anyone. It sounds like there's no reason to think you won't get pregnant again. Although, understandably you'll probably find it more stressful next time around considering what you've been through.
There are some great threads on here full of supportive women going through the same thing. It might be worth joining one of them so you're not going through it alone.
I'm currently pregnant and it wasn't an easy journey. I'm not sure I'd have coped with it as well without the support I got on here. I was on (and still hang around) the Bumsnet thread. Feel free to come join us on there. It's only a small group but we're lovely and very welcoming of new people!
All the best for your TTC journey, you'll get there!
