Hi everyone here is the August bus carrying on from the one I was on previous month with u ladies.
Fx this is a lucky bus!
Had my implant out yesterday and gp said I should be good to go within a week.

Not too sure how to track so hoping af arrives to kick things off :-)

Welcome Nell, I know it's so easy to get disheartened but it really isn't over until AF arrives.

I think thoselook good dani, I think sometimes the LH surge can be so quick that use miss it with OPK. When we were trying for DD2 I never got anything more than I faint line so thought I wasn't ovulating, but I clearly was and I have a stroppy 2 year old to prove it!

Never had acupuncture myself Blossom but a friend did and swears that that was what helped her to convince after three failed cycles of IVF. Even if it doesn't help the taking some time out for yourself sounds like a great idea.

According to Ovia I'm CD14 and on day 2 of my fertile window so we've DTD twice so far - can only improve our chances I tell myself! Since coming off the pill last October after being on it for 8 years I'm still getting to know my cycle, which is averaging 29 days with long but light periods. I do have a pack of O test sticks which I will dig out if our relaxed approach doesn't work.

Will be keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP by the end of this month but I know it's only our first month TTC so no high hopes.

It's just great to read of others in the same position.

Nell - welcome! Though damn, that list of symptoms...I think you've put us all to shame . It may seem like the end of the world but don't be disheartened, I'm on cycle 13 so if I could be in your shoes right now I'd be laughing. Not everyone conceives in the first 1-3 months and you'll get there. I am worried that stress may be playing a big factor in things for you, try to stop symptom checking (we all do it so easier said than done) and if you are testing every other day for pregnancy maybe just wait until AF is due. It'll just help you relax. Try looking at other aspects of your life too if you aren't already, like diet, lifestyle etc. At least you benefit from those actions anyway. Stick around, lots of great people here to help support you.

Dani - I'd be tempted to do another OPK but that's cos I'm unfamiliar with your cycle. I can get two dark bands in 48 hours but everyones different. You may need to test every day of your fertile week to catch it but the cheapys seem to work for you so it's not going to cost you a bomb.

Blossom - I've always been slightly scared of acupuncture, I have a moderate fear of needles and I'm not sure if I should put myself through it. I was thinking of trying Yoga, my friend swears it cures everything.

Just made a fertility boosting meal (one of many for the month ahead) - now just sat here waiting for AF to arrive.

Looks yummy. DH is on a bit of a low carb health kick so he's cooking tonight!

Well I did just did another opk after holding my bladder for 4 hours (which I read online can help) & it's about the same as this afternoon's - a definite solid line but not as dark as control and lighter than last nights.
Skipper I don't know my cycle either haha, not had a period since March until 2 weeks ago - told I won't ovulate without clomid but I was also told I'd need provera to induce a bleed (which I was due to be given on my next fertility appointment on 23 Aug)... So yeah... Fingers crossed!! Your dinner looks yummy!

Not tried acupuncture but I would like to. Trying to save pennies though & it's quite expensive. Currently getting cheap facials/massages/pedicures at my local college.
Another vote for yoga though, I loooove it!! Currently doing 'Yoga with Adrienne' 30 days of yoga playlist on youtube which I'm really enjoying

We conceived #1 on cycle 18 just after I'd had a scan on my ovaries which suggested I had PCOS so the BFP came as a surprise!

Not sure how long it's going to take this time (cross fingers it does happen!). I tracked my cycle on paper with #1 and did one month of OPKs which helped me to discern the different CM!

Ok, so now I'm looking up local yoga classes, feeling inspired!

Blossom - it's salmon, new potato, asparagus, tomatoes and egg with some herbs from the garden. Not the best recipe I've had - more like a glorified omelette but it had a lot of good ingredients.

Dani - this is great news, sounds like your body is sorting itself out. Drugs are fine when all else fails but really promising that you've had those results on the OPKs already. Id say you've definitely ovulated this month :D

How funny - I went to my first ever yoga class last night and really loved it! It's been recommended by my Physio as I have a bad back (and am generally embarrassingly inflexible) and Im hoping if I get pregnant I can carry on throughout to stop my back from getting as bad as it did in my last pregnancy. Hoping to do it at least weekly. It was lovely to relax and forget about ttc and work and everything else!

Anyone testing tomorrow? I don't know whether to bother as only have a digital, af not due to sat and am really not feeling confident this month. Will probably do it anyway then curse the complete waste of cash

Oh and great news on the opks Dani! Looks promising!

I'm meant to test tomorrow but I'm not bothering, I've been spot bleeding and I feel like it's definitely AF.

I'm way off testing, only on CD13 but definitely think I've ovulated today. Loads of EWCM yesterday and some right sided pelvic pain earlier today and lots of cramping this evening.

I would hold out testing gorilla, but I know how tempting it can be to test and how tough it is to resist!

Morning all ....hope all ok with everyone. After a few crap days at home have tried to fill my days which has made the day go faster as The TWW really takes its tole on me. Today though have a good day planned. Have a day with a super cool nine year old. I do respite care for a family but it's not s job it's just a real treat. So here's today a day of swimming and lunch out and the park. Bliss.

Wasn't planning to test today as wasn't feeling very hopeful but found a frer I didn't know I had - and got a line!

I'm 9dpo, cd26, testing on Saturday but know it'll be a bfn.

Cd 20 for me and 11 days until I can test but am going to try and hold out another 2 weeks at least. I've got in my head I'm testing on the 26th. Whether I manage to hold out that long if af doesn't show is another question. My boobs are very tender today and I've got lots of creamy cf. ovia reckons this is a good sign of pregnancy if it continues. Ovia also predicts that if I am pregnant this cycle baby would be due early May. I always thought I'd have a May baby so fingers crossed

I'm testing same day as you niks. Also on Ovia.

I don't have Ovia, it seems to do a lot of interpretation - I'm worried it will stress me out and get my hopes up unnecessarily. Just started using Clue to record tests, cycles etc - before I was just writing it all in a diary.

I am meant to test tomorrow but going to wait until Saturday morning if AF is late. I am 90% certain it's another failed month for me.

FX for you skipper. I'm not enjoying this wait! And thinking every symptom means I'm pg. I think I may be disappointed in 2 weeks time.
