Which were they? Sickness, boobs or another symptom?

Well my pre-BPF symptoms were exactly the same as pre-AF...same boobs and same prickly stomach, nothing different at all. It seemed like any old failed ttc month. The only difference was that my temperatures were higher than they have ever been, which was why I tested.

Oh I see, anyone else?

If I remember rightly my first symptoms also came around the time I'd normally get my pre-period symptoms, especially the boobs. Normally I get slightly sore boobs, but when pregnant they were 10x more painful. I think the higher frequence in weeing came around the same time. The sickness didn't come til after I took the test, with ds not til 6wk pregnant (4wk is when you find out) with dd a few days after taking the test, the same with the tiredness. No other symptoms, except for this feeling deep down that I just knew I was pregnant, because I felt different in myself. Hard to explain, just that I just knew I the test would show up positive.

really awful, awful PMT around the time my period was due and nausea at 5 weeks (lasted till 20 weeks)

lulumama · 24/01/2007 13:59

tiredness. tired , beyond belief, just before i tested, both times. also, tender and larger boobs...swiftly followed by a BFP and much vomiting!

ItsMeMellowma · 24/01/2007 14:00

Strange taste in mouth, sore boobs, tiredness

ItsMeMellowma · 24/01/2007 15:34

I just found out I was pregnant on Saturday (had it confirmed at doc's since) but don't know my dates as just come off pill, but I have no symptoms and don't feel pregnant at all. I am kind of looking forward to feeling something - you should be careful what you wish for though eh? I never get PMT either so maybe that is why I don't feel anything (never feel anything before my period anyway only stomach cramps)

Sorry, new to the site and can't work out some of the abreviations...

AF? dd? Thanks!

marymillington · 24/01/2007 17:02

absolutely ferocious PMT type emotionalness
i had been convinced i was up the stick and got very disappointed
but then i turned out to be pg after al

marymillington · 24/01/2007 17:03

AF - "aunt Flo" (wince) - means your period
dd - darling daughter

there's plenty of time to feel utterly crap, nh101, or maybe you will be one of the lucky, glowing ones.

nh101 · 24/01/2007 17:40

Thanks Marymillington! There should be a page where all the abreviations are explained! I suppose I will work them out in time. Yes I am sure this time next week I will have forgotten feeling this good. I even feel better than normal but that is because I have stopped drinking - it usually takes me till Wed to get over the weekend excesses which doesn't say much for my drinking habits
