From experience - best time to TTC #2

We don't want a huge gap between out children. What sort of gap are you leaving when TTC #2? There's 15 months between my brother and I! Hats off to my mum!!!

I have 13 months between my first two and wanted there to be 2 years or less between tc 2 and tc 3 but it didn't happen as quickly as it did the last time for us so I will have:
Tc1 3.4 years
Tc 2 2.3 years when tc 3 please God comes along. My two play away together and they always have company when they go places I am worried now that tc 3 will be at a loss with them both and my dh thinks we should have tc 4 straight away again.
These things don't always go to plan so my advice would be to go with it. You will cope.

What's tc?

More than 2 years is better - at least in my experience. At 2, the older one is still very dependent and it's tough to add a baby in the mix. It's better by 2.5 and by 3 they are much more grown up and usually not in nappies. But there's never a perfect time!

There are 22 months between my two and I'm struggling massively (eldest is 2.3 & baby is 5 months). The eldest is exhausting and the baby only naps for 35 mins at a time. Ugh!

Mind you, I'm almost 45

22 months between mine, it was a nightmare when they were tiny, better now.
I'm putting at least three years between 2&3! Just trying to conceive number 3 now
