TTC AFTER MISSED MISCARRIAGE

Hi ladies I'm new on here (yesterday I joined) but have been googling mums net since my MC happened, I found out at my scan the baby had no heartbeat and had to have a D&C, my D&C was only 3 and a half weeks ago and my periods come, it's 100% my period and it's very heavy and very painful and fresh TMI but bright red!! Basically after my first period (this one) I was told I could try again! We are so wanting a baby. I brought a clearblue fertility monitor which I will be starting this month!! Any recommendations on anything after TTC after a miscarriage? Let's pray I get my rainbow!!! xxxxxx

hey Dannibear1990, only advice I have is staying positive and keeping a healthy diet and lifestyle :) Make sure you're taking folic acid or some kind of multivitamin. I'm trying after a early MC too.. Here's hoping this month is the one! x

Thanks for replying!! It's so hard to stay positive and not think about trying isn't it!!!! I am taking seven seas trying for a baby, and I'm eating as healthy as possible!! Let's hope it's our month and we get our rainbows!! xxz

According to Ovia my fertile week begins on the 9th.. but it think i may use OPK's this month. But then I'm also thinking the less i think about it the more likely it will happen..

Was your last cycle the first month for trying?
I'm on my 4th cycle, and early mc was first cycle :(

Was 3rd month of trying and had a MMC at 10 weeks but baby's heart stopped at 7+5! I miss being pregnant so much and want it so much, I'm due to ovulate then too according to sights but I don't know if will be different because of miscarriage! I started using my Clearblue monitor so will start OPKS in it soon!! We are going to be so close due Ovulatio and horrible 2WW!! How can we not think about it it's impossible isn't it??

I know how you feel, it's so difficult letting go of the emotions after MC, i feel like its taken away from the excitement of being pregnant. if and when i do fall pregnant i feel like ill just be panicked everyday until 12 weeks atleast, and i know stress won't help at all!

Its our 2nd wedding anniversary on 20th july and DH birthday on 28th July, I just want a BFP so can reveal it to him on his bday. But who knows!

I suggested we try every other day throughout the fertile week but don't know if thats too much? or whether ever 2 days, i just don't want to miss the chance again D:

The month we feel pregnant we had sex twice in the month and it worked but now I'm thinking is every other day practical? They say that 3 times a week would work, everyday defiantly not as makes the sperm weak, what do you think Yourll do? Xxx

exactly! i always read about people who got pregnant the month they didn't try, but when i know I'm trying i just cant stop thinking about it.

I think probably every other day - if it happens, I don't want to force it either and make it a chore. i think we'll try as much as we can keeping it fun as possible.

Im having such bad lower back pain since this morning, totally not normal after AF?! agh! hope it eases soon.

Yeah that's the thing I can't stop my head from constantly thinking about it either it's driving me mad!!!! I wouldn't be able to excite him that much and it would become a chore lol!! How do you do it that much? I need tips to keep it fun 🙈 They do say when you think about it it doesn't happen but I don't believe you can't not :-( have you heard of pre seed?? Sounds amazing but it's like you have to insert it before sex and it's a little bit weird to predict when you will have sex I suppose? I'm excited to see what day I ovulate on but if I don't get a BFP after having it on a good day I'll be gutted so it's so hard!!

I don't know how much TMI is TMI on these boards, but anything from surprising him when he least expects it, wearing something inviting/sexy. or finding interesting positions! I guess more than anything you've got to continue to enjoy it without thinking about it too much. but as you said - thats easier said than done! Theres nothing worse than seeing AF when you had so much hope :(

I've heard of pre seed but never really looked into it - might have to do some research!

So i just ordered the pre seed from amazon after reading reviews! It doesnt take much to persuade me.. ha!

I think i'll probably start tracking in a few days time, I'm thinking i might have ovulated earlier than normal last month. I have the cheap amazon opk's so ill see how they go. I can usually kind of tell when I'm ovulating as i tend to get pains on one side.. but really don't want to miss a chance.

I wonder when is the earliest you could ovulate? As my fertility monitor doesn't ask for a test until the 6th day, I probably wouldn't ovulate before then but worrying too I'll miss it! Haha let me know on the pre seed... How does your husband feel about trying is he like hating that it's charted and stuff? As mine finds it silly I'm charting so much I think lol x

I think he's less worried than I am, in the sense that he's much more chilled. he's taking the attitude that it will happens when it happens and there isn't anything we can do if it doesn't. But he does remain quite positive. I think more than anything he's enjoying not using any condoms.

I've never been on the pill or anything so our only method of contraception was using a condom. although when we weren't actively trying we did occasionally not use it. Just seems frustrating that you're so cautious and then you realise when you come to trying its not going to happen that easily anyway!

Yeah! We spend all these years preventing it and now we want it it really isn't that easy, that's exactly the same as my BF I think they are so different to us they just do there thing and don't think anymore of it, where as our heads don't stop!!

Even after my MC he was so positive. I was a total mess but he remained positive the entire time. I honestly don't know how they do it either. I wonder what he's going to think when I tell him about the pre-seed..

They will laugh at us thinking it's all a con I'm sure of it lol!! Mines been the same!!! When I say stuff like when you see scans does it upset you his response is stuff like, it's a pain in the arse yeah. Not like yes so much like I feel! Etc lol it's so weird they can be that positive I wish we could!!!!

Hey!!! Yep this morning was CD6 and it asked me for a stick, it's low fertility at the moment.... So assume some point in the next week or so it will go to high! They are pretty cool..... How's things going for you?? I'm just worried we won't get the chance to do it much! Trying to think of exciting things to change things up a bit? Xx

CD8 for me.. So not much difference! I guess I should try a OPK tonight and see how it goes.

DH is starting up a new business so he's a bit stressed at the moment, which doesnt help TTC. I also feel like I'm going to get a cold sometime soon.. really want this month to be our month but everything seems to be going against me at the moment!

I know we are really close in CD.... I really hope and pray it's our month, we deserve it! 🙏🏼🌈 I'm aiming for 3 times a week but it is a struggle it's hard when you both work a lot! But I'll try haha!! Yes I would give the OPK a go tonight and see if your close? The clearblue fertility monitor was like a new toy this morning using the stick for the first time xxxx

yeh 3 times a week should be enough!
DH mentioned he wants us to wait until after our anniversary to try :/ but i don't think he gets how much this means to me. he's also said he wants to carry on not using protection so I don't really think he's being very logical! x

They are very confusing! I just don't think they get how hard it really is and you can't just click your fingers and be preg! :-( if only!! Well let's try to the 3 times a week and see how we go, let me know what your OPK says

Hey! Was busy over the weekend.. Used the OPK on Friday and it was very faint.. not one used since but convinced I ovulated yesterday.. got mild cramps and pains. Today I've got really severe lower back pains so no idea what thats about..

I also used preseed on the 2 days we DTD. I'm not sure we tried enough but we'll see..

No way??? I'm also having the same bottom of my back kills for the last two days? No idea what is going on. I'm rushing around like a mad woman so probably not helping, my sticks on CBFM went to high on cd12 and 13 this morning still high, getting pinching cramps in my ovaries too.... Let's pray!
