Spotting around ovulation

Has anyone ever experienced spotting around ovulation? Got a solid smiley on the clearblue advanced dual opk this morning but last night I had a small amount of bright red spotting and it's left me a bit confused. Thanks

I get this most months. I think it's quite common. Though not sure how common it is to get it as a one off, having never had it before.
