Hi, longtime lurker here, TTC no 2, been trying about 3 years.

AF was due on Sunday, and hasn't arrived. Am trying not to get my hopes up, despite vaguely sore, huge and veiny boobs, and an occasional 'sicky' feeling. Am also sleeping a bit more.
Anyway, question is, what is CM supposed to look like from ovulation until AF arrives? I've had a nose around and can't find anything that will tell me, and hoping someone here might be able to help

It is white and creamy or sticky or even none existent for some women. It varies a lot but what it should not look like is egg whites as this is your fertile mucus and comes when you are ovulating.

This can be an early pregnancy symptom however I get varying quantities every cycle. This month I've had loads and then suddenly hardly anything. I'm 9dpo. Do you track ovulation with temping?

No, not with temping. I use Fertility Friend and according to that, I DTD at about the right time - I have a 30 day cycle. So far, I haven't really done any tracking of anything really, but my DD is nearly 11 now, so I want to 'get on it' so to speak lol. I probably also need to start tracking just in case anything is wrong with either of us

You need to start tracking. You have no idea when you ovulate without it. You could ovulate anywhere between day 14 and day 20 and even outside that. You may think your period is currently late, but you may have ovulated late which easily happens. If you have been trying for three years a trip to your gp won't hurt. Saying that, they may want you to be trying while tracking your cycles unless you are just dtd every other day for your entire cycle? It's worth asking. Your cm is a good sign you have ovulated as the release of progesterone causes that type.
