Clearblue ovulation tests

I had a mc 12 days ago and started doing ovulation tests a couple of days ago but they are getting lighter. Does this mean i ovulated before i started doing them or does it go up and down prior to ovulation?

Sorry for your loss, but the test would be getting confused with your hormones from the mc, wait till your period goes by to start using them, it's very hard as after my mc I wanted to start again straight away, but I'm so glad I waited till my following period as I knew roughly how far gone I was, hope you get your precious rainbow baby! Baby dust your way xx
