Tww- anyone want a symptom spotting buddy? :)

Hi ladies I'm cd33 today!!! I tested 2 days ago and bfn :( I was wondering if anyone else is a symptom spotter or anyone with a bfp can throw in their advice please :)

Iv had sore bb's on and off as well as constipation on and off. Iv also been getting randomly nauseous! Also very tired but I do suffer with m.e. Iv been convinced af is going to show over the last week because I have been getting on/off period pains in my lower back and top of the legs!! But so far she's a no show :) my periods are however very irregular!!!

Another odd thing going on this month is my cervix. (sorry this could be tmi). When I was trying for my second I always checked my cervix to see if it would close and it never would it would always be slightly open even when I managed to get pregnant it stayed slightly open (I put this down to already giving birth before). Iv been randomly checking my cervix during this tww and it's always been open (only checked about 3x) however I checked this morning and it's quite far back still within reach tho and it's closed!!! Also quite lotiony- sorry!! I have also been getting hot flushes.

Hello, I'll join as it'll be nice to chat to someone to keep me occupied during this tww. It's cd24 here. AF due Friday/Saturday. Bfn this morning which is hardly surprising as it's still a bit early. I've been ridiculous with symptom spotting I've really had to chill myself out. I've had intermittent AF cramps over the weekend, so thinking AF is on its way early and I'm out

I'll join in :) Im CD30 today not sure if I am late on not yet... last 2 months have been 28 day cycle but previous to that I have been 30/31/32 !! Very frustrating! Thought AF was on its way last night but no show yet.. Been feeling nauseous all day and now suffering from heartburn - deep joy!! Tired - but then I'm always tired!! Been having headaches for the last couple of weeks and strangely suffering with cramp in my legs and neck! Oh and not to mention the back pain!! Not really symptom spotting LOL! Been trying for over 3 years now and 41 so could really do with a BFP!

Hello, I'm in! Feeling pretty wonky and impatient this month and could use some pals.
CD 20 and I've had a 24 day cycle for the last few months. Ovia says I can test in 4 days but has af not due for another week from today. Weird.

Any of you using Ovia?

Birdie I'm impressed at your cervix checking and don't worry about tmi! I've had the odd go at poking it when Ovia has reminded me about it but I haven't found it very useful as it doesn't seem to change a huge amount.

I'm just back from my honeymoon and part of me is thinking how perfect it would be for it to be this cycle. Not helping myself! Trying desperately hard not to get too into crazy symptom spotting but it's inevitable.

Can I join in too, not sure when af is due as I took a relaxed approach this month and don't know exactly when I ovulated. I seen a gynae and he scanned me and could see an egg and felt I was due to ovulate that day or the next. I am on cd 26. I am still breastfeeding my nearly 19month old and the last couple of days my nipples have been so sore. I am also exhausted although that isn't anything new!! I have had some constipation, and a couple of light headed incidents. I don't have that pregnancy feeling though so we will see what happens. When are you all planning on testing?

clarke I'm not breastfeeding but I've had sore nipples too for a good few days! This is cycle 1 for me though. I'm not sure if this happens every month and I'm usually not paying attention or if this is actually a new thing. It's so easy to convince yourself about every little thing being a sign isn't it.

I'm trying to hold out another 3 days (CD33) before I test as my longest cycle has been 32 day. Dunno if I can wait that long though....

I'm trying to hold out now aswell Wardy. Thursday at least, preferably Friday. I don't want to start (literally) pissing money down the toilet!

Boots have buy one get one free on first response tests, so I have four tests sitting waiting, I don't know whether to take one or not like you Olive I don't want to be 'pissing money down the toilet' it's so tempting though but I don't want to be dissapointed either. I had a chemical in April.

Hi oliveortwist I felt like I was going to have af for the past weeks because iv had all the cramps but nothing yet!!

I tested 2 days ago not sure when to test again I just hate seeing that bfn :( if af hasn't arrived I might test Thursday :/ - doubt I'll resist the urge that long tho :) xx

Hey birdie It's a tracking app, free from the app store, really useful for tracking symptoms throughout the month, predicting ovulation window and af due date. It's american and there doesn't seem to be a UK equivalent but you can't really tell and I saw people on MN recommend it.

Definitely worth a go. When I came off the pill I had no clue what my cycle would be like so it's been good tracking everything.

Sounds good! Would it work if you have irregular periods because mine are usually between 28 and 38 day roughly :(

I think so. When you download the app it'll ask you lots of things and I think it asks if your cycle is regular or irregular. I didn't know anything about my cycle after years on the pill.

It gives you a green zone/fertility week and predicts AF but if you update it as stuff happens the predictions will change. I tend to do it in the morning then add stuff if need be in the evening.

Some of the articles are useful and you can add as much as you want - sleeping hours, fruit/veg intake, alcohol, cervix position, cm, loads of things - but I tend to stick to key symptoms.

Sore breasts for about half of every month since I came off the pill if I scroll back through the months. So boring...

I'm deff going to do that for next month if I don't get my bfp this month...sounds really good!!! :)

Starting to get cramps reckon af is on its way think I'm out this month.

Don't lose hope yet wardy!! I got af cramps before I had my bfp with my 2 children :)

Hi guys my period finished 8 days ago but since then I have had bubbling feeling in stomach along with a tiny clot and blood streak in discharge. Is it possible to conceive within a week of finishing my period?

You can olive but you don't have to and I never have.

You can add as much or as little as you like and I think only some of it really contributes to cycle predictions.

Hows everyone getting on?

I definitely thought I was out this month last night. Went to the loo and wiped and it was tinged with blood so put in a tampon and went to bed feeling rubbish. Got up this morning and hardly any blood on tampon just a little dark brown blood and nothing since.... so I guess until af actually shows her face in full flow I'm still in . No period pains yet but feeling a bit grotty so crossing everything - though I don't hold out masses of hope.

What date is AF due wardy?? Fx! AF due 30th for me so hoping to test this time next week. Hurry up already!! X
