pumkin three days = deffo in with a chance. I've read 3-5 days is average survival time. Exciting!

Good luck pumpkin, 3 days sounds very possible.

My first postnatal AF arrived last week (14mo pp) so I finally have a sense of where I am in my cycle. Now on day 8. If I had a normal cycle this month and conceived the due date would be pretty much exactly DSs 2nd birthday, which isn't ideal, so no pressure this month to get it right.

Great news napping. I've never wanted AF to turn up so much!

boatrace I know - I have actually felt jealous of people having periods recently. What the actual? I expected things to get back to normal much sooner than they did (I had 10 months in my head for no reason at all) so it felt like a long time to wait.

boatrace I wish I was still breastfeeding but DS lost all interest about a month ago, having been quite take it or leave it for a couple of weeks. I would happily have continued longer, but I suppose it has worked well timing wise for TTC if continuing to feed would have meant a later return of AF. Who knows.

I'm a bit confused as I O'd late this month, is it likely my LP will stay the same as last month (12 days)? In which case AF due next Thursday. I have a bunch of ICs to waste so don't imagine I'll hold out that long but also not particularly hopeful for this month!

Hi lullaby I'm 5 dpo the wait is so long. I ovulated on day 16 n if my AF should arrive on day 26 making my LP only 10 days.
I'm hoping your LP will stay same, will give you a better chance of a pos test.

Yes symptom spotting like crazy n trying to tell my self it's a very slim chance. I know I'm going to be gutted when AF turns up
If I get to 28 days I'll test on day 29, but with my lo I didn't get a pos until a week after AF due
A pos would be the perfect birthday gift
Let's hope we can gift the clear blue monitors next month

pumpkin I read somewhere LP below 10 days could be a problem so fx you're above the threshold. If my cycle sticks at 28 days per usual I will also be about 10 days too!

When we conceived DS I got a surprise pos 3 days before AF was due, didn't track that month but suspect I O'd early. Feeling quite crampy but may be digestive related as I have been eating like crap for the last few days 😳 back to it on Monday as the weekend will be a write off. Ask been researching nurseries thinking it would be nice to send DS part time when no 2 arrives - major wishful thinking!!!

Best of luck lullaby and Pumkin. I'm in the -2WW now (up to O) and I'm finding even this is dragging! At least after O you know you've done what you can and what will be will be... keeping fingers tightly crossed for you both.

lullaby, I would have thought that LP would be the same or longer than last month, unless your DS has upped his feeding this cycle? 12 days is great, you're in with a real chance I'd say!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it: we've weaned! DD has been an absolute superstar and has taken the change in her stride. She's even starting to get excited when she sees the bottle, the way she used to at the sight of boob, haha. I'm so relieved that we haven't had to stage a battle of wills over this, because I absolutely would have lost.

Feeling quietly hopeful for this cycle but don't want to get ahead of myself and be crushed when AF arrives. At least we're off on holiday tomorrow for 2 weeks so that should take my mind off things. Hoping to see some more good news when I next check in!

Hang in there jooni! I reckon you're in with a great chance this month and you're usually nice and relaxed on holiday DS conceived on holiday after a boozy lunch well done to DD for getting to grips with bottles only so quickly.

Overall I would say DS has fed less frequently during the days this cycle as I pretty much dropped his mid morning ans mid afternoon feeds but have had a few night feeds due to poor sleep recently. Who knows what effect it will have!

I am an idiot so yes but I feel like AF is coming so wonder if I'll just have a 28 day cycle like usual...

lullaby I did the same last time around - felt like my period was arriving, did the test anyway as I had planned to test that day and didn't want to miss out. Got a big shock when it was positive! I was so convinced it wouldn't be. So you never know... Good news about O for next month if not though.

I'm on CD13 and on the lookout for ovulation signs. Negative OPK this morning but I'm sure it was a bit less negative than usual, if that makes sense, so hopefully it will be soon.

BFN today 11 DPO so not holding out much hope! Been in a terrible mood this morning (poor DS) AF should arrive on Thursday so looking forward to getting onto cycle #3. On the positive hopefully LP will stick at 12 days at least.

I had the same with pg/AF symptoms napping used to get sore nipples in run up to AF but it carried on for 9 months! Also had funny taste in my mouth (wine tasted wrong) before last BFP none of that this month although I think nearly 15m of BF has toughened up my nipples

I'm on cd 25 but as with you I feel very AFie my cycle isn't settled yet so could be from 25 - 28 days at min
If I get to Friday morning I'll test but thinking it's unlikely it was a long shot at least I'll be able to use my clear blue next cycle n oh is not away
