invalid result this morning, when to retest!

I have one more test in the house, and I've just had my fmu for this test that has come up with positive in the test region but no control line advice please... What do I do, retest tomorrow? Not sure I can wait that long now I've had a funny test... It's got me suspicious!!

We'll need more information than that Date of ovulation? Date period due?

I'd wait for tomorrow for FMU again (a dud test is just a dud test) but if you're already late or you just can't stand it, you could try it.

Problem is if it's early testing non-FMU could give you a false neg.

Sorry! I'm on the pill, but my week off last week resulted in no period at all, I'd had a few days (3) in the weeks prior when pill taking hadn't been optimum, but before I get a flaming, this would be a much loved baby on both sides if it were to occur, so no worries there. I know realistically it's unlikely, but I've never missed a pill period, ( also the first time I've been at all slack on taking it) and I just need a bit of reassurance. Feels like being a teenager again, all unsure! pill free week was Tuesday to Tuesday last week. No bleeding. Mild nausea in evenings for last two weeks...

Oh gosh. Can you test now and get another one later if you need it? I'd be on pins.

Just5mins am off to work now not going to be able to focus all day.... Would actually be very, very excited if it were positive. I'm meant to be going for drinks on the weekend With old friends so I need an answer before then!! How did you come to suspect your 'surprise' baby?

I'd probably buy a twin pack of tests of do one as soon as I could then double check with FMU tomorrow. I'm massively impatient though!

I'd make an excuse like you have to go to the docs for an emergency appointment for conjunctivitis or something (also contagious ) or dentist for an abscess?! Or even to pick up a prescription ASAP for eye infection which needs dealing with now

Thanks for the support guys I promise to report back tomorrow morning.. Being at work has calmed me a little and I'm trying not to focus wholly on test test test why oh why did it have to be an invalid test this morning! That bloomin' test line has got me going crazy

Definite negative this morning. Thanks for everyone's input and support... When the time comes for active ttc I'll be back for sure!
