We've dtd with the dog here before and he's jumped on the bed ... Very weird to say the least. He tries to get in between us even if we just have a kiss or cuddle. We're not allowed to love anyone else more than him

I'm determined to keep up sexy time this month too as last month we did the FW and then didn't have sex for like 3 weeks!! Really unhealthy ....

I feel your pain physics. I've had a urine infection too and am still suffering. Going to stock up on cranberry juice. I had a kidney infection last year when I tried to flush out a urine infection rather than take antibiotics. Do not want that again. Will have to make sure I go to the loo after dtd (will wait 15 mins to give swimmers a chance)

Should be oving in the next 5 days or so. Not been temping or poas while on hols but plan to start again tomorrow.

Really odd AF this month. 2days then nothing for 24 hours then spotting for three days.

Dtd on CD 8. Plan to tonight and every day from Tuesday to Friday if I can.

We are going camping next weekend (weather permitting). Got a really busy week ahead with work.

Radders. I'm sure I read something about being more likely to conceive with regular dtd throughout the cycle than just in fw. I think they thought there might be an action in our immune system making it less likely to kill off the swimmers.

To update, the little bit of brown spotting seems to have stopped. Hosting a BBQ for 20 tonight so I'm nice and busy and distracted! Thinking I shouldn't drink though...

Sooooo frustrating got ovulation cramps and tingly boobs, fertile CM and stuck on a campsite on individual air beds sharing tent with the kids. Not happy 

Glad I'm not on the clomid right now as would be a waste of time! Going to sneak in the bush in a mo to do an opk and see what is says probably will wind me up even more!

We all seem to be close in ovulation this time. So will be interesting in the 2week wait. Really not got my hopes up as had not chance to do much this time.

Jodders- sorry you are going through uncertainty at the mo, totally understand where you are coming from. For me also I feel the fun and excitement has gone from my life as everything is on hold in my head just because of ttc. Just wish it could happen unexpected and not planned too. I have fallen out with DH as I feel undesired when he doesn't want it. Although if it wasn't fertile week then maybe I wouldn't want it so bad. My boys have been so irritating constantly bickering and playing up that I feel sometimes do I really want anymore too? Think mostly it's down to me knowing I haven't got long to pop one out as age isn't on my side and if hormones already a bit squiffy then I'm likely to run out of time if I hold off. So just want it to happen fast. Hope things settle and you are in a better place and will happen when you least expect it. X

You'll all be pleased to know that we hung out briefly with nature late last night whilst kids asleep and I walked back to the tent quenching my pelvic floor to hold it all in without looking trying to obvious. Hee hee..

Hi all! Not a lot going on here. Had a beer last night (first time in over two months!!). No guilt, which makes me think this won't be my month... Trying to stay neutral though.

Nim have you been taking antibiotics? I am now terrified of dtd and getting another infection. Have felt quite 'dry' down there all cycle, which is definitely my first symptom of uti... and wee smelled funny this morning. I'm scared I still have it a bit! Also that sounds exactly like my periods these days!! They are odd... still getting used to them after 5 years on the copper coil when it was 5 days of heavy followed by a day of nothing, followed by 4 days of brown... they were terrible!

AF due Thursday.
I decided to do an opk with FMU. There two lines. Can an opk be used to detect pregnancy?
Don't have any FR tests at home.
Boobs are feeling a tiny bit sore ahead of AF now too.

Some people say yes, some people no.

Anecdotal evidence also says some women get near positives approaching time of AF (and not an indication of whether it will come or not!

Bottom line, get an FRER asap!

Erm so... I tested this morning and this happened!! Now in a state of total panic/worry that I might have stuffed things up already by drinking raw milk (we are dairy farmers and live off the stuff- lots tastier!!) and by the half glass of wine that I had two nights ago. Not to mention all the heavy lifting and ridiculous exercise that I've just started again... Slightly scared it might just turn out to be a horrible joke... Also very excited and can't stop grinning! I'm never this lucky... Ever!!

Not feeling very hopeful for this month already?! We flew to California yesterday for a holiday / visiting family. I get very anxious going away and have had an upset tummy and having to take beta blockers to calm down. Just think all of this plus the body clock disruption of an 8 hour time difference is not conducive to conception. Can isolated intense stress prevent it happening? I'm confused on the actually effect stress has.

That's s good deal on at boots then. I've got two already so not going to buy anymore as might go poas crazy again!

Think I am going to do my first test in the morning!! Will be 9dpo so pretty early!

I have got so sun burnt today. Have been sat outside with friends for half the day and am so red and sore. I feel horrendous! Trying my best to stay hydrated just in case!
