Summer-when u first got your positive opk day 15 or whatever it was , was it darker than the control line. Are u sure ovulated then and not just about to? Looks dark to me like u have a surge in its way? Either way; cm is a good sign for pregnancy. When is your AF due? And are u temping?

That's right, I had a positive opk on cd 15 and it was darker than control line. Really dark. AF due on 9th June next week.
Last night with hubby before he goes away for work so might get 1 more Dtd in! If I was ovulating now, this would make my cycle longer due to AF arriving and I'm normally very regular. I don't temp, just do opks. Very strange. Tempted to try a FR tomorrow now!!

I did a temp this morning to check if ovulated but it's 36.06 so I haven't. I have really bad ovulation pains. On the left this time so egg must be being released from the left ovary ... Always has been the right! Hopefully the left brings me more luck :)

Summer I think it's more likely you ovulated last week if that timing is more consistent with your cycle. The positive result (test line as dark or darker than control line) is the best indication of a peak LH surge. I often get faint lines at other points in my cycle. Have tried to use opks as pg tests before as I know they can also pick up hcg, but I consistently get lines before AF. All things considered I would write it off as insignificant, but DTD anyway and keep testing on the off chance another peak is detected. There's always the faint possibility your body failed to ov after your last peak so is trying again, and also the possibility it is indeed picking up hcg. Have you retested this morning?

The exciting bit of the cycle! Radders/Jem I think all 3 of us will be getting busy tonight. DTD Monday but not last night, so defo need to get a session in later, OD tomorrow or Friday. Jem you need to jump DH later to make up for lost time. Radders Yesterday's CM sounds like a good indication you need to get to it, perhaps OD today for you?! Was that temp even lower than usual? I was at 35.99 this morning which is especially low, some women notice a pre-ov dip, so another sign we should be baby dancing?!
Been on a kiwi a day this cycle, but more relaxed in all other senses, hope that helps!
DH made me laughs this week. He reckons the more foreplay we do, the more swimmers he produces!!!!

Morning all cd13 and got a shedload of EWCM this morning. DH lands in about ten minutes - very annoying I can't stay home and get on it! Will have to wait until this evening. Am going to be first out the office tonight!

Summer, am surprisingly getting a lot of cm, watery too and I barely get any after ov. Had l done lots of bd, I would be getting excited because I had that when I got preg with ds.

Had a terrible night with a flu and am not getting out of bed today.

Temp 36.00. Sore throat and cold.
No dtd at all for 2 weeks now as DH away, not back til midnight thurs (hang on egg- few more days!), so I need to distract the kids in the morning before we go camping that day! Movie and popcorn? Is that allowed at 7:00am??

Feeling hopeful about the drugs next cycle, and reading some great success stories although there is a chance of twins and multiple births. Because it boosts and accelerates your eggs out like an explosion (which apparently can hurt) and sometimes more than one pops out. Or they can separate easilier into two.
Going with it as may be my only chance. The fact it's on Nhs (would cost about £400 if not) I'm going along with all the help I can get.

There's still a chance that this cycle will be ok and pop an egg out in a few days. He did add that the LH surge changes in hormones so not accurate that I did ovulate. By looking at my chart he can see I was struggling to ovulate at least so I should get a ov at 14days next month and AF or BFP at 28days. He said I need to dtd every 2-3 days after cd6 until cd 23! Might need to invest in some outfits or horny goat weed to entice the DH!

Tee- ha ha any excuse! He may be right give it a go! can you imagine adding that to our regimes every time.. Omg the men will be in their element!

Summer- I'd dtd anyway if u can so u know u have covered all basis.

Thanks mimi, I hope you feel better! I had the flu early last week! It wasn't nice!
I wouldn't have thought to do an opk yesterday until I felt the discharge and thought it felt odd and knew I had just passed fertile week.
I haven't done any tests this morning. Didn't have an FR in the house and again didn't think to do opk with FMU.
This time last month I was severely symptom spotting! I was also majorly bloated with heavy breasts 10 days ahead of AF! I haven't had any of that yet apart from the discharge yesterday.

Footprints - Dtd last night! Didn't want to lose the opportunity of at all my ovulation was playing games! Hubby wasn't up for it but I insisted!!

Also I read whether true or not, the body has anotherLH surge approaching AF!

No temp rise yet, so even though I am on antibiotics and dh will resist, I think we should dtd again tonight. We dtd Cd 15 and 17, so the swimmers might be dead already!! Or maybe I won't ov and will get a surge in a few more days.... Oh this is all so confusing!

Still feeling mild discomfort but lots better.

It seems loads of us are approaching the exciting frustrating time!

CD 19 for me. I have had increased CM after drying up for two days and pulling/twinging low in stomach. Not sure if I am just noticing this because I am symptom spotting or if it is different to normal!

Jem- yes I did look away from his eyes when he said it incase I blushed and he did say sexual intercourse which made it sound awfully awkward ! Was funny when I said "just before AF arrived" he said AF?? AF? What's that? Ha ha... When I explained he laughed out loud.

Ps- good symptoms there! Not long to wait now..

Physics- tis a shame you didn't get more of those tablets as I was given a whole jar with about 30pills in once and so every now and then when I feel its coming on I take one or two and it kills it before it starts. Maybe take cranberry tablets just after your period or drink the juice for few days leading up to ovulation to protect your bladder. Are u on school hols at the mo? If so; bet you're enjoying the rest.

Very near positive opk over here tonight. 2nd line didn't appear instantly, count my peak from when the test line comes through the same time as the control line and ends up darker. Reckon I'll ovulate late tomorrow/early Friday

Cranberry tablets on order. I think I'm going to go back to the GP (it was a Sister that I saw) and say twice in two months, when I do all the right things (loo right after dtd always, front to back, etc...), is ridiculous! Might see how cranberry tablets and next month go, as I do hate to take antibiotics unless I really need them, but this last one scared me that it might be kidney infection...

Kate hope the cranberry tablets help you. Last time I had cystitis I used cranberry tablets and they cleared it up.

Ps keep an eye on cm. If it becomes thick and creamy it could be a good sign!
