Ps my cycles are normally 28 days

SuchaJem · 21/06/2016 11:08

Trust your body. If you see EWCM then have sex. That kind of cervical fluid sustains the sperm, so that when the egg is released, the sperm is ready and waiting. Remember it takes time for the swimmers to get up the tubes. Egg prefers them to be there ready and waiting.

Jodders · 21/06/2016 11:15

Hi all, been catching up when I can from sunny Gran canaria. CD 25 here! Haven't been thinking much about it all as distracted. Wish I had a two week holiday during every TWW! Only 2 more days til the witch is due. Don't feel PG at all though. Hope everyone else is well!

ps2304 · 21/06/2016 11:53

Good luck Jodders!

I am away next week, hoping it distracts me too!

Footprints1 · 21/06/2016 13:49

CD5Star

Glad the holiday has distracted you a bit Jodders . Bet it's flown by for you already. Hope you will get good news when you are back? Or did u take a test with u?

PS-I'd dtd. Like Jem says that cm is vital to push up the swimmers so why not. You can still get a neg opk if have EWCM, and might find you ovulate soon after- you might get your positive later or it might peak in the night.

Mimi-frequent peeing is a good sign! Smile

Summer-hope your man is back in time.

Tee- snakes and ladders it is definitely! Boring part of cycle isn't it. What are your tactics this month?

Radders- hope you're ok and lines are getting darker!

Psychic- hope you are taking the cranberry now u are approaching the f/w?! Hope it doesn't happen again for u.

Hi everyone else X

So no news here for me! Started clomid yesterday, no unwanted symptoms to report. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Got spoilt! :)
I keep forgetting the supplements! But also worried to not take too many with the clomid. Going to opk starting cd7 because I have to take clomid for 5 days and then a big egg should pop out soon after so wondering if I might ovulate earlier? Gynae didn't really say just dtd every other day or every 2 days.

Jodders · 21/06/2016 16:39

No I didn't bring a test. If she hasn't shown by the time I'm returning I will be 5 days late! Sometimes I think flying can delay things though

ps2304 · 21/06/2016 17:26

Just had a smiley static on Clearblue - only on day 12 though! Last month got it on day 14??

will jump on husband when he is home tonight!

Then how many days should i be doing it for now?

SuchaJem · 21/06/2016 18:58

Hello all CD 6 here, boring Brew

Jodders hope you bring home a little stowaway from your hols

Glad to hear you've had a smooth start on clomid footprints. An exciting cycle for you!

Ps I'd carry on a couple of days I reckon

Radders how are you?

Pepper2016 · 21/06/2016 19:05

Hi,
Would it be ok to join, am trying ttc my first. Am on cd19 of first cycle.

Haven't told anyone we are trying and would love some people to chat to. Thank you Smile

raddersmrs · 21/06/2016 19:06

Hey everyone!

Thanks for asking about me and hope everyone is ok.

Not much to report my side. I did my last test on Sunday and have stopped since then! Thought it was about time. I've attached the last pic - thought that was a good stopping point.

My boobs are tender now. Was so tired yesterday but better today. Confirmed my early scan today - 8th July at 7 weeks. Midwife appointment in for 14th July - day we go on holiday. So just waiting now. Still doesn't seem real and just hoping it's not taken away from me.

Jod hope you have good news upon your return.

Good luck everyone else - get dtd and preparing those swimmers!
Parney hope all ok

Xx

Nimisha · 21/06/2016 20:50

Hi all CD 27 Star 8dpo.
It's lovely to see the big strong BFP Radders. I'm so excited for you. Do you think it could be twins? I looked back and you did get ov pain on both sides!?!

Welcome pepper! It really helps to have people to talk to!

Good luck footprints, I have no idea whether you will ovulate early on clomid, glad you haven't got any side effects.

Have you started dtd yet Jem? Got to keep the swimmers freshWink

PS I would keep going at least every other day while you have ewcm, preferably daily.

Wow Jodders, hope the relaxation and nice weather results in a BFP.

Mimi, how your feeling OK, peeing a lot is a good sign but could also be a uti (as I well know having had two recently)

Kate, how are you doing?really busy with work?

Hi tee and purple, hope you're OK.

I'm exhausted as usual so early night for me in a bit. I'm toying with the idea of doing an early test tomorrow. My lp has been so short I haven't really had a chance yet so I won't be too disappointed if it's a bfn. I'll be 9 dpo. I don't have any frer only an I.c.

SuchaJem · 21/06/2016 21:16

Fx for you testing nim. We have started DTD on day 4 Smile he gets bAck from Joburg tomorrow so lots more DTD coming up.

Hello radders so thrilled everything going well, please keep us updated! Symptoms etc! Have you told anyone yet?

Pepper2016 · 21/06/2016 21:36

Thank you *Nimisha
Have felt so nauseous all day today. I'm going by glow that I am cd19 but not sure I had proper AF earlier in month as was so light. Have ordered some ICs so may try one when they get here in case Smile

Congrats *radders - lovely to see a BFP xx

PurpleOwl86 · 21/06/2016 21:50

Hi everyone, hope everyone is well.

AF arrived, so it really was a chemical. Sliding back to square one - funny how that works with the snakes and letters theme.

Feeling sad today, sorry for the short post.

Welcome Pepper!

Pepper2016 · 21/06/2016 22:05

Thank you Purple.
So sorry to hear that. I hope you feel better about it soon xx

SuchaJem · 21/06/2016 22:28

Hugs purple I hope you're okay Flowers hopefully its a sign you are fertile and you'll be back onto bfp soon like radders.

Welcome pepper Smile

raddersmrs · 21/06/2016 22:39

Hi pepper - welcome! Sorry I didn't see your post before as was typing and posting same time.

Jem - I've told my oldest friend tonight - we were doing about getting married, babies etc and I was going to only tell her if she asked but then I felt a bit bad for keeping it from her and just told her. She's so excited!
My manager at work knows too and friend at work who I've spoke to throughout the whole ttc process. So 5 of us know and all of you guys :)
Can't wait to tell my parents but waiting until after scan.

Purple - really sorry to hear. But good sign you can conceive.

Nim let us know how you get on with your test. Good luck.

I'm wishing all of you lots of gas as that has been my main symptom Hmm

Tee4me · 21/06/2016 22:47

CD4
Hi everybody,
Welcome Pepper! Definitely nice to have a forum for discussing all things TTC, it can feel like a lonely journey, but everybody here is lovely.
Footprints glad no side effects for you! Exciting to try a cycle with a whole new strategy! I don't have any tactics for this cycle really, feel like we gave it our best shot last time, just more of the same and hope we get better luck.
So boring isn't it Jem! FW very soon then we'll be back in 2ww before we know it!!
Good luck testing Nimi!!
PS as everybody has said, if there's egg white keep going!! You've got off to a great start. FX you catch the egg.
Sorry to hear your news Purple, beginning of AF can feel very depressing, you're not alone.
Jodders hope you're having a great time and hope you'll be bringing back an extra special souvenir!!
Radders look at that beautiful BFP shining like a beacon! You must be delighted!! Keep us updated with all your news.
Hello everybody else!!

Latest with me is that I finally got to the docs about these random rash flares up I've been getting. She said almost certainly an allergic reaction. Asked about changes in my diet, any pineapple or kiwis!!!! Apparently they are particularly allergenic! For those who have been on the thread since the start, I got into the habit of kiwis first 2 weeks of my cycle and pineapple in LP! I think I'm most likely reacting to the pineapple, as kiwi definitely isn't new in my diet, but I guess it could be the quantities?! No more supplements or diet restrictions for me now. Just folic acid with dinner. My body feels way out of whack. She suggested I go back in a couple of months if we still haven't conceived (my periods have been weird since mc in March). I'm going to get some ICs in as she wondered if I'd been having more early miscarriages/chemicals. Usually I wouldn't test until I'm late, but if something weird's going on, better I know I guess.
Sorry for rambling and sorry if I missed anyone! x

ps2304 · 22/06/2016 07:10

Morning all CD13Star
Another smiley face from clear blue ovulation this morning! Guessing I will ovulate today or tonight? Dtd might have to wait till tomorrow as pretty tired today! So far have dtd CD 4 6 8 9 10 11 12

SuchaJem · 22/06/2016 08:26

Tee that's puzzling, wonder if it was the exotic fruit intake? Glad you've seen your doc and getting on top of this. Stripping back to folic acid makes sense.

I was wondering whether or not to use epo again as I've noticed really horrendous PMS and sore boobs throughout the TWW. Wonder if this is a result of taking epo for two weeks then stopping suddenly?

I'm taking it again this cycle as it definitely boosts my cm. If nothing this month then maybe I'll drop it next month.

Pepper2016 · 22/06/2016 09:57

CD20
This tww feels like forever! Still feeling nauseous today. But trying to not think about it as far too early to get any symptoms. With ICs when could I try testing from? Sorry first cycle so all bit confusing at the mo.
Thank you all for the warm welcomes xx

Nimisha · 22/06/2016 10:19

Hi all

Bfn for me this morning but I'm only 9dpo and it was ic. I'll test every day until AF now.

Pepper, the tww feels so slow doesn't it!

I hope your rashes settle down tee!

Radders, if I don't conceive this month I'm going to put my Dh on vitamin c, he's not keen but I think your oh was taking it wasn't he?

Waves to everyone.

Footprints1 · 22/06/2016 12:09

Purple- sorry AF arrived Flowershoping you will conceive quickly after like Radders.

Oh dear tee, no exotic fruit for u for a bit. I'm sure it doesn't matter though. Folic acid is the main one. Glad you saw the doc and hopefully they can find out if u are having chemicals and offer you help. Have u ever had your progesterone levels checked ? I know that these can cause chemicals due to a fall off progesterone or low prog rate. Maybe worth asking the gp for a blood test.

Radders- your BFP looks good and strong! So pleased for U. Bet mr radders is happy too.

Welcome Pepper! Great place to b with these lovely people. Hope it's a successful cycle for u.

Jem- funny u should say that as my boobs were ultra sensitive in the last tww. Maybe is the EPO? My cm was good though so might keep it up.

I've actually bought some preseed gel, as read that clomid decreases cm so was worried I might b too dry. Will let u know how I get on with it.

SuchaJem · 22/06/2016 13:39

How many DPO are you pepper? Or days past ovulation

Nim I've got my DH on vit c now too

Footprints yeah think this could be related. Epo is meant to reduce PMS but I wonder if taking it for 2 weeks then stopping for 2 weeks has the opposite effect?

Pepper2016 · 22/06/2016 13:55

Hi Jem,
I think I am about 5DPO
Didn't use OPKS as husband just wants to go with the flow for few months first to see if it just happens.

Hope your reaction clears up soon Tee
