CD25Star11DPO
Radders that's loads darker than your original IC. I couldn't make out a line at all in your first one, but I don't have to zoom on this one! I'm convinced this is a sticky one, so happy for you!
Kate sorry to hear about car issues, bummer!!
Jem I really hope this week brings you good news, not long to wait now!
Footprints your symptoms sound so promising, I remember another BFP'er talking about feeling uncomfortable lying on their front!
Nothing significant to report here... Weird pinching/pulling sensations yesterday and really bloated, was feeling pretty hopeful, then last night it started to feel more like AF cramps. Looked back and noted I got cramps at this time last cycle. Saying that, nothing noticeable today yet.
Does anybody ever check their cervix to give them an indication of things? DH has commented in the past that things feel very swollen/spongey down there before AF! So I often ask him if he thinks I'm about to come on. He said it felt like that last night. Not giving up hope though because he hasn't made a conscious effort to check how things would feel when I'm pg.... so I'm just wondering if anyone else has ever noticed these changes? Radders are things feeling swollen/spongey down there for you?! x

Tee I started to check my cervix yes because I was checking the CM. Not so much this month though.
My cervix last night was still quite high!

I will check today about sponginess. Sometimes I don't feel like I know what I'm feeling for. I just see what comes out xx

Jodders · 14/06/2016 10:55

Footprints - my boobs specifically my nipples are so sensitive. Have been since ovulation. I don't trust the boobs though.

raddersmrs · 14/06/2016 12:45

Can't say my cervix feels particularly spongy although I don't really n is what I'm feeling for. It is high though and creamy CM

Jem feel really tired today and yesterday so kicked in like clockwork my usual AF tiredness symptom!

SuchaJem · 14/06/2016 13:34

Radders that's so much stronger! It just be nerve wracking but feeling so positive for you.

Tee I'm a bit clueless when it comes to cervix position. I'm a tiny bit crampy too but that's normal before AF. Mood is a LOT better today though thank god!

Jodders my boobs have been really sore since 1 DPO too. I think some months this just happens - to me anyway.

My best mate is staying with me this week, she's an obstetrician so it was reassuring talking to her about ttc. She said 6 months is nothing to worry about and it's very normal to take up to a year or more. If anyone has any questions for her let me know! She's here until Thursday!

11 DPO for me now. Might test again in the morning but really no hope to be honest.

PurpleOwl86 · 14/06/2016 14:38

Hi everyone..

I think I just had a chemical pregnancy. Had a bfp yesterday - I do the tests on the clearblue advanced monitor, so tecnically can't read the stick, it just said "pregnant". That was awesome, but it was 7dpo, no way it could tell that early, and I didn't really believe it. Looked online, peopledo have bfps this early, even though it's rare.

But then.. I did the test again this morning (also fmu) and it was negative...

Feeling very disappointed. Waiting for tomorrow's test.

Footprints1 · 14/06/2016 16:28

Purple, I'm so sorry if u think you have had a chemical. You must feel so sad. 7dpo does sound early. Could you have ovulated earlier? Was the second test clearblue also?
Test tomorrow too? Hoping it's not a chemical for you. When is your AF due?

Radders- I just looked back on January's test and hers was the same brand test as yours and the line is the same shade at cd28, so I think that's ok. Don't worry. It looks good for you. Try stay calm and put your feet up.

Physic- I don't believe it I've only now got a UTI :((( had terrible cramps earlier and was bursting to pee. So much pain.
Everything aches.. Waiting for DH to get back so I can go to bed.

I'm CD23Star 10dpo??
Temp was 36.80 today! Even higher.. Don't think I can even trust the temping anymore. Jodders- you had high temp last cycle too didn't u! No more pills now so I should bleed tomorrow Thursday latest Friday if no bfp.

Footprints1 · 14/06/2016 16:29

Tee- I might try the cervix thing tomorrow if I feel better.

SuchaJem · 14/06/2016 16:45

Purple that's tough Sad I think at 7 DPO you wouldn't be producing hcg - it would only just be the start of implantation I believe. So it may have been a faulty test, but it's still early days so plenty of time to still get a bfp.

Feel better footprints!

Tee4me · 14/06/2016 18:52

Sorry to hear of your disappointment Purple. Really too early to say either way, so let's watch this space.

I know nothing about cervical position... Open/shut, hard/soft... DH just describes it as feeling 'puffy'/'swollen up' down there before AF. He's kind of taking about the neck of the foof (sorry if tmi!!) should probably write it off as meaningless. Radders bless you for checking!! No more cramps today, just the odd twinge, banging headache and a bit grumpy! Really hope AF stays away! Jem will you be trying a FRER or sticking with ICs?? x

OP posts:
PurpleOwl86 · 14/06/2016 18:53

Thanks footprints and jem.

Both tests were clearblue, but I caved and bought a FRER also, and it's negative. I don't think I ovulated earlier as the positive opk and CM coincided perfectly.

I will keep testing everyday until AF shows or I have 3 consecutive bfps (have to for the study thing). AF is due on 21st, one week today. Not out yet, I think.

raddersmrs · 14/06/2016 19:28

Girls I've just been loo and when wiped there's brown like start of AF.
I thought I felt like I had AF cramps today.
Fingers come out with brown stuff too

Did IC when I got home though earlier and the line was still darker.

Feeling really paranoid now. Is this normal? Do you think the tests are showing positive still even though could be miscarrying??

ps2304 · 14/06/2016 19:35

I'm sure I read somewhere that brown spotting is very common in early pregnancy. Fingers crossed for you xx

Jodders · 14/06/2016 19:39

Radders I had brown spotting with both my pregnancies. With first it was at 11 weeks and second it was when my AF was due just after I got my BFP. Try to stay calm.

raddersmrs · 14/06/2016 19:41

Feel so sick now and want to cry Sad

Suppose time will tell xx

Jodders · 14/06/2016 20:14

It is very common although I know that won't make you feel any better. One in 5 pregnant women will experience spotting in her first trimester.

Tee4me · 14/06/2016 20:17

Radders I think it's a good thing that it's brown, that means old blood, so potentially being expelled after implantation a few days ago. When I had my mc in March, the blood was very pink and fresh looking. Stay calm, watch and wait... agonising I know. Big hugs xx

OP posts:
Parney · 14/06/2016 20:20

Radders if it's brown could it be old implantation blood? I think a darkening line is important, even though it can't be exact. Surely it means the hormone is getting stronger, which is what counts. Try to look after yourself and take it easy.easier said than done I know.

Parney · 14/06/2016 20:21

X post tee! But a good sign if we both thought the same!

raddersmrs · 14/06/2016 20:32

If it was just the brown then I would feel bit more positive but I've got lower abdomen cramps too like AF cramps... I just don't think this is going to end well now. AF always starts with this brown stuff first for me.

Will do a frer tomorrow morning. Although if it's going to turn to proper AF I'm guessing it will overnight

Thanks for all your positivity xxx

Parney · 14/06/2016 20:38

Cramps can be totally normal, I was plagued with horrific AF style cramps in the early days. Of course you'll be worried, I hope you get a good sleep. I've everything crossed that AF won't come overnight Radders x

Jodders · 14/06/2016 21:06

I also had cramps for first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

raddersmrs · 14/06/2016 21:15

I'm hoping its breakthrough bleeding. Just reading about that. We shall see tomorrow I guess. If it is chemical again then I will go see a doctor. The FRER and IC are out waiting the FMU.

Purple sorry I missed your post and have just seen it. 7dpo does seem really early but I hope you get some clarity on it soon xx

SuchaJem · 14/06/2016 23:01

Tee I'm sticking with ics as convinced I'm not pregnant this month. I'm hopeful it will happen before long but really not hopeful for this month. Did another IC tonight and saw my old friend snowy white bfn. You are doing well holding out. I hope you are rewarding with a shining fat positive line!

Purple you are definitely not out xx

Radders you must be so worried but I've read sooooo many times about spotting in early pregnancy - it sounds so common. Your lines are really strong, hang in there xxx

Footprints1 · 14/06/2016 23:26

Radders - hoping it's nothing and all is ok tomorrow. Thinking of u X
