Thanks Footprints, Radders...
So disappointing! Couldn't have done the Dtd anymore than I did. Uhhhhh :-(

Here's to our first official month or trying! Can you all please give me your best tips?!

Scared its not going to happen as quickly as we hoped!

Jodders · 10/06/2016 09:17

Summer I wonder if DTD too much is a bad idea? I did it sooooo much last month and it didn't work. Maybe our graduates could remind us of their BD before their BFP's?

Why does it have to be so difficult!!! AngryConfused

Sorry for your news Summer & PS Sad
I'm really starting to think every other day is the best strategy. I'm feeling very hopeful and positive this month, probably setting myself up for a fall though! I looked back on my stats for the cycle we conceived in March, and we had a very similar pattern of DTD this time round. Plus I just enjoyed trying a lot more this month. Not really any promising symptoms though. Perhaps a bit more creamy CM since OD, and cramping middle of this week (before I'd expect to implant, so not sure that's anything to get excited about) Been having lots of pineapple but will stop that after today as I don't think high levels of bromelain are good AFTER implantation (apparently the phase between OD and implantation is best to ingest this enzyme, so 1-7DPO I reckon). Here's my DTD pattern for my successful cycle:
CD8 pm
CD9 pm
CD11 pm
CD12 pm
Ovulated CD14
As you can see there was at least 36 hours between last DTD and ovulation! xx

Sorry PS Flowers, hope you get your BFP soon. At least you and summer are cycle buddies for next month. Only tips so far are kiwi fruit for part of cycle up to ov, Brazil nuts and pineapple for second (as tee has said). My friend who is pregnant dtd every other day from cd5 until cd 21.

Just seen a bit of brown streaked CM when I wiped?? Annoyed that I don't know exactly when ov was as didn't test when I was away. It was between Friday and Sunday. So I'd be 6-8dpo. Anyone else had this?

Jodders · 10/06/2016 12:52

Yes footprints I had that too in April and I was convinced it was implantation but it wasn't. I hope it's implantation for you though!
We can't DTD every other day with the way my hubby works Sad He works nights and we have the kids during the afternoons so it makes it very difficult.
I really don't know if I have ovulated yet. I felt frisky on Tuesday and Wednesday and had a bit more watery discharge and a little EWC then. I think I had one sided cramping one of those days too. It would have been very early in my cycle to ovulate then though. I am a little concerned about my lack of EWCM. I haven't been getting much. If I don't get a BFP this month I may start the evening primrose. Feel I am taking a lot of supplements though. I haven't been taking the Brazil nuts this cycle either.

Tee4me · 10/06/2016 13:10

Jodders I am so fed up of supplements. I've stopped everything except folic acid now, was taking aspirin because of previous mc, magnesium, calcium and vit d for girl sway. Cranberry at one point too. My skin has had 2 really weird rash breakouts and I'm sure it's because my body was all out of balance xx

Tee4me · 10/06/2016 13:11

Ooo Footprints, implantation let's hope!! xx

OP posts:
ps2304 · 10/06/2016 14:36

I had brown at 8dpo last cycle and was convinced it was implantation! Fingers crossed it is for you footprints!

Footprints1 · 10/06/2016 16:16

It's just not something I've had at this amount of dpo. Did an opk incase was ovulation bleeding and was neg. Compared to last cycle I had so many positive opks and cramps.

Over symptom spotting now but my small breasts look much bigger today. Tingly when I take my bra off and I'm quite a way from AF date so a bit confused. Would be typical if I conceived this month- chilled, drinking, only dtd once/twice before ovulation and not worried about positions, opks & not taken as many supplements.Had all those tests and got clomid to start soon. Been ultra tired today.

Tee, actually been enjoying dtd recently too. Possibly could be too many supplements causing rash? I tan so much more in the
second half of cycle I've come to realise!

Jodders- evening primrose helped me with EWCM. Sorry to hear your DH away a lot working. Think u still have a good chance though.

Some people just fall pregnant on one dtd - parney, did that happen to you? Hope u are well.

SuchaJem · 10/06/2016 16:39

Sorry summer and ps Sad plenty of WineBrewCakeChocolate for you and then positivity for the next cycle.

Ps I think only 20-25% get pregnant on the first cycle. No need for you to worry now.

Tee that's amazing to me there was such a gap between your last DTD and ovulation. It really is true those sperm can survive up there!

Fx for IB footprints! Your symptoms all sound promising.

Jodders epo helped with EWCM for me too. I take one 1000mg tablet a day until O

SuchaJem · 10/06/2016 16:40

Day 22, 7 DPO

Nothing new to report just really sore boobs still - had this from 1 DPO and hasn't let up Hmm

Nothing else though. Can't believe still another week to find out...

SuchaJem · 10/06/2016 16:42

The TWW guide again if anyone is interested - someone posted before and I find it really useful

Parney · 10/06/2016 17:43

Hi everyone, I'm good, thanks Mimi and Radders. Still reading the thread and hoping for more good news.
Footprints and Jod, we weren't having a 'very active' dtd month! I'd been off the pill two months and previous cycle I ovulated later so I'd been holding out for late O again, positive OPK threw me.
Managed CD 6, CD 13(am) CD 14(pm) Positive OPK CD 12
Conception being estimated as CD 14, at dating scan (will post pic!)
I avoided alcohol from CD1, ate Brazil nuts daily, Continued with folic acid and made sure sperm never got 'stored' for longer than 10 days! I thought I was out when I saw positive OPK earlier than usual so I'd kind of written off the month as I'd had no swimmers waiting. I guess that meant I was more relaxed? As well as that we had been given the opportunity to book a random huge holiday with friends and decided if this wasn't the month we'd book it and hold off TTC, so Sod's Law! Although I'd always favoured the idea of BFP than the hol.
Sorry about AF summer and PS. I genuinely think as well as the 25% chance with perfect timing, there is a huge element of luck/chance as well as being relaxed. Sounds like everybody is doing everything right! Hopefully there will be lots of BFPs at once soon!

Parney · 10/06/2016 17:51

Jem and Tee, lots of luck this cycle! So nice a lot of you seem to be at the same stage!

Tee4me · 10/06/2016 18:06

Ah Parney! Can't wait to see your scan picture! We are well over due some BFPs on this thread, I think next weekend could be a good one! x

OP posts:
Parney · 10/06/2016 18:28

Oops forgot the pic Tee! Blush can't believe it's been almost two weeks since we had the scan. I was just over 9 weeks. Next weekend and Father's Day surely calls for some BFPs! I'll be 12 weeks that Sunday!

SQUARE ONE'ers to GRADUATES - expecting plenty of BFPs in June!
Tee4me · 10/06/2016 18:49

Amazing!! Oh I'm so happy for you, lovely little bean, encouraging for all us hopers too, I will be beside myself with happiness when I get to scan stage!! xx

SuchaJem · 10/06/2016 19:07

Hello parney lovely to hear from you, thanks for sharing the pic it's awesome Halo

Staying relaxed about it seems to be so important. God I'm really going to try for full relaxation next cycle if it's bfn next week. It'll be yoga, massage and meditation all the way! Considering no alcohol too.

physicskate · 10/06/2016 19:51

I'm gonna crack and test on Sunday. Sore boobs - not a usual symptom for me (even though last month I had sensitive nips). I have a sliver of hope and some FRERs burning a whole in my pocket.

CD28 9dpo.

raddersmrs · 10/06/2016 20:10

Cd 22 - 8dpo

Parney - awww so lovely seeing little bean! Keep us posted. When is your next scan? Have you told many people yet?

Tee wow that's good to see you know to show you don't have to dtd on the Day of ovulation. Here is mine when I got a BFP... Did it quite a lot. All pm.

CD10
Cd11
Cd13
Cd14 - positive opk
Cd15 - think ovulated here but not 100% sure
Cd17

Ps sorry to hear AF has shown. Nice you and summer are cycle buddies.

I now have a lot of creamy Cm but I seem to remember having this last month so I'm not even taking more of that.

Footprints hope that's implantation bleeding for you.

Tee4me · 10/06/2016 20:50

Well according to Ovia this month, my best fertility score was on CD12 even though I ovulated on CD14!! I'm not sure I'm very trusting of Ovia, but I reckon the day before ovulation is probably the peak. Definitely as soon as you start to see a peak line on opk. Get all the swimmers lined up in position ready to pounce when egg is released is best Grin Radders you are well and truly covered there love! Just 1 more week to go!! xx

OP posts:
raddersmrs · 10/06/2016 20:58

That was the month I conceived tee in April!

This month I did it less.

I never know if ovias fertile window is correct and the information it gives you but I just find it a good app for inputting data. FF looked too serious and technical to me when I wanted to keep quite light hearted as much as possible.
