Is it too early to test??

My DH and I only started trying again last weekend after 2 m/c last year. My period was due on Sunday so the times were all wrong for starting really but thought hey, you win some you lose some.

My period is late!!
If I do a test will it be to early to show as I will have only conceieved at the earlies 10 days ago? I am getting my hopes up as feeling a bit sick, very tired, boobs hurting and getting bigger etc - but this can sometimes just happen to me around the time of my period.

Trying not to get my hopes up too much but I am secretly very excited.

That is the usual time for testing - get an early test (first response), I think they are more sensetive. xXx {{hugs}} xXx

I haven't had a sucessfull pregnancy yet but in my mind I am still mum to my two boys Sam and Thomas who I lost last year.

I am so bloody excitedI think I am going to be sick - or maybe thats just the morning sickness kicking in. Can't wait for those days you cry into the toilet saying you can't take any more

BRING IT ON!!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm fortunate in that I've never had a mc so can't imagine the pain it can bring. I really hope this pg goes well for you.

lol at you wanting to be crying into the toilet. I had hyperemesis with dd for five months but totally get what you're saying about the being sick

Is your dh over the moon as well? Such an exciting time for you both

cupcake78 · 17/01/2007 19:03

DH's face aches he is so happy and has been smiling so much. Keeps talking to my tummy telling babs "I'm your daddy" etc etc.

He wants to tell the world but with my history we will wait till at least 5 months (if I can get away with it for that long).

Ah bless your dh - that's soooooo nice.

Can see why you would want to keep things quiet for now. Will you tell really close family or friends though? Don't think I'd be able to kep it to myself for that long

Really pleased for you. Can feel your happy vides through the pc

Marshmellow · 17/01/2007 19:18

So pleased for you, you must be over the moon! Make sure you get plenty of rest - treat yourself to some nice chocs or something to celebrate and maybe some sparkling apple juice!
