Can anyone help with info on where I can buy an insemination syringe?

can you not just buy a normal syringe from the chemist... we've got some for giving the kids medicine when they were young... you don't have to tell them what its for!!

rowleypoly · 17/01/2007 10:42

Thank you, that may be an option. I've seen an example on tv where there is a small tube attached to the syringe. I've also read several articles on the net where people have bought them online, but it never says where! I've done several searches...with no luck!

If anyone could send me a link directly to a website that sells them, I would be most grateful!

Beautiful ds conceived with 10ml syringe from NHS walk-in centre.

I think Pink Parents have folded (SillyBee's link), but their kit included a 10ml syringe, without an extension thing. We've also tried 5ml (like the baby medicine ones) but 10ml gets you closer to the cervix. Good luck!

ps, I would recommend It's a family affair by Lisa Saffron. Lots of info on insemination, and things to think about when using a donor.

rowleypoly · 23/01/2007 09:41

Thanks to everyone for their info. I contacted Lisa Cauldron as suggested by SillyBillyBee and Lisa advised that the kits would be on sale on ebay from 19th Jan. So I've ordered one from their.

People can and do get pg with the help of an actual turkey baster.

rowleypoly:

I found a website www.drmalpani.com/selfinsemination.htm it actually tells you every step on how to do it and also sells a kit. Good luck, I think I may be trying this next, heck, I'll try anything at this point.

babylove123 · 25/01/2007 21:36
