ttc for over a year with no luck,

Hi mums,
I'm a bit worried that my partner and i have been ttc for over a year, and still no luck. I'm only 24 so I expected to get pregnant pretty quickly. Can anyone give me some advice or is there anything I could be doing wrong?? Thanks any advice is helpful and much appreciated wink

Trip to the GP sounds in order! They would be able to give you the best advice/ suggest if test are necessary.

Second gp, and also try opk's you might be missing the fertile window. A friend thought she ovulated earlier than she did and has been missing the right time to bd constantly.

We're in the same boat. Preliminary tests have all come back normal for us both. We have an appointment at the fertility clinic in three weeks. The waiting time was only five weeks so not long at all. I would also say to visit your gp. Do you have anything to indicate any problems like irregular periods? Do you temp?

I have tried ovulation kits, but they were always negative, when I want to the doctor I mentioned this to her and she said well if you have a period which I do you are ovulating. sometimes my period can be irregular by a few days or a week tops.thanks for your replies

Also have you tried BBT temping?? If you take your temp with a sensitive thermometer every morning before you get up (same time every morning) a temp shift indicates if you have ovulated. It's not helpful to predict the future, but it tells you what has happened!

As above, temping will confirm ovulation. The opks aren't always good guide as you can miss your LH surge.
