Obsessed with pregnancy tests...

I fear I'm become a bit obsessed with pregnancy tests!

Small chance I might have caught this month, "period" came early and I wondered if it might be implantation, but I have literally POAS about 4 times over the last 3 days... I'm also obsessed with looking at pics people have posted looking for faint lines.

Most people seem nervous about testing and want to wait to avoid a BFN falsely but I just can't stop...Someone stop me!

I'm just very excitable over the whole thing

Aw me too. I would buy boxes of the strips from the pound shop and test everytime i pee even in work lol. Not good for your mental health though.

I think that's it Writer, I just find it all exciting! Might not be so eager if it takes a long while to happen, but it's only my first month of trying (although I did have an early MC after catching straight after stopping the pill)

Me too... its my first cycle ttc and I've done about ten internet cheapie tests even though i know it was far too early.i am so impatient. Af due tomorrow so I'm going to use one of my expensive tests as long as it doesnt arrive before i get a chance!

I POAS this morning as had "cramps" I'm 7dpo and to be honest I should I have just peed on a fiver

I've had five MC, praying, hoping, crossing everything and I mean everything for a BFP

I bought tests before DH was even on board with the idea of more DC. I've hidden them in my bedside table. No chance I'm upduffed atm but I still want to go POAS!

Hahaha - I've got some hpt left over from a few months ago and I can't wait to start pee'ing on them: 8 days and counting!!

I'm have been able to fulfil my pee'ing desires over the last week by using OPKs and even though I know I've ovulated and I know I'm out of my fertile window I still used one this morning just because I like POAS and looking at lines appear

When I have been pregnant in the past , even after getting a BFP, I have still tested at least once a day (sometimes twice) just to see the line appear again

OPk's are great!

My monitor is still asking for them and I'm still doing them even though they say low now every day!

Still didn't stop me this morning...

I buy 10 for about a fiver off amazon - at least I'm only peeing on 50ps!

I got mine free when I bought a BBT thermometer that DH also doesn't know about. Came with ovulation tests too which I did last week but according to my temps I started testing too late. I also forgot about it & drank loads so it would've been v diluted anyway. Hoping to start trying next month so I'll get to peer at lines then! Previous +ves have shown up almost instantly the day before my period was due, this time I've got 10 free cheap tests & plan on starting testing from about 5dpo, just so I get to squint at non-existent lines. I'll probably start a POAS daily log thread too... so anyone who wants to can come squint with me! Not that I'm excited about it or anything... It's probably going to be our last DC & previous pregnancies have happened on the first month of trying so I'm hoping our luck will hold out for this one too!

I've been very sensible & more of a JSer with previous pregnancies, knowing this will probably be the last time I get to do any of this is sending me a little OTT!

I was obsessed with poas! I didn't even really get disappointed when they were negative, just found the whole thing exciting! I got 50 for about £7 on Amazon.. Then I didn't feel guilty and it stopped me weeing on expensive ones. When I got a positive it was amazing! Then I still did one a day too I ran out... Then started using up my opks. I miss the sticks! Be warned tho... I got my bfp at 9dpo so I feel like I have known for ever!! Then I would my self up about chemicals and miscarriages.. I envy the people who find out at 12 weeks!! Haha. X

Done my POAS for today...BFN. Like you Sunnydays, I don't feel overly disappointed when It's negative (might in a few months though!).

I'm confused by my cycle at the moment...it's normally 28 days (but I've only had 3 of those since MC and before that was on the pill for years, so I've only got 3 months of cycle to compare to).

My concern is that I often get a positive OPK on CD17 implying I OV on CD18, but if what I had this week was an early period (and not implantation bleeding like I hoped) it was really early (about CD24) and means the time an embryo has to implant is incredibly short. That does worry me a bit.

I will be POAS a week from today so watch this space - I will put up my twice daily tests 😄

Yeah we tried for 6 months before bfp so was starting to get a bit disappointed by then end but not enough to stop me peeing on sticks from 7dpo!! Haha. I peed on a lot of sticks!

Don't worry too much miss Clarke, my luteal phase was only 7-10 days and baby still managed to settle in. X

I'm also obsessed about poas and this time my excuse is I haven't got a clue of when/if I ovulated as I'm breastfeeding dd who is 7 months.

I however been feeling strange around my lower abdomen so that's my reason to go crazy poas almost everyday since last week!

Isn't the tww the worst!! Writer I think 7 dpo is long enough!! But I had a chemical in early April, so I promised myself that I wouldn't start testing until AF was late but it ain't going to happen! I'm thinking of trying to wait until 9 or 10 dpo yeah right so in the meantime, I have a stash of IC OPK's (and some HcG ones coming end of the week) which I'm off to use to satisfy my poas addiction! Want to save my FRERs until nearer when af is due!
