One point worth considering is that the mind numbing thread on infertility is essentially the BESH by another name (they are brilliant!)

It's so difficult cos I don't know what we are - I joined BESH never thinking I was actually infertile just that it was taking a fucking long time - did we mostly turn out to be IVF neededing barrens?

Had my scan this morning, 1 follicle of 19.5mm about ready to pop and another of 14.5mm. I'm under instruction to take my trigger tonight and get shagging for the next few days!

I wont have time to start a new Fred before hols so I'll either leave it to others or will do it in 2 weeks time

I'm happy to stick around in conception, but understand if others feel best to move to Infertility. I feel a bit of a fraud here as it is!

Did the trigger last night so next step is a progesterone test next week to confirm ovulation and then wait and see. I hate this part, the tiny glimpse of hope is a bastard.

I hate hope too cave - I suppose I shouldn't it's the only thing that got me through but I do much better as a pessimist!

I had a browse through pregnancy, conception and ante-natal threads earlier - they all drive me fucking crazy. I had forgotten the "this is my 5th cycle and I'm going crazy" and the "honeymoon baby" people actually existed. Even in my 'current condition' I still want to whack them in the face I love the infertility threads, full of amazing witty women ... and still I would probably never have joined the BESH has it been on the infertility thread - I really thought I was just a slow starter

Christ even the barrens on conception threads are insufferable:

We had IVF for unexplained infertility. We weren't offered IUI as success rates aren't great and only marginally better than sex. I didn't find IVF that invasive and the process was straightforward. Got pregnant on first cycle and am now 36 weeks pregnant

These are my last two cycles before IVF in July, I think we have done the necessary TTC this month (oh, the romance!!) so now I just need to go totally mental symptom spotting for two weeks, cry for two days when the fucking droid arrives and then repeat. The extra stress of IVF does not bear thinking for now!

Trying to wean off MN for a few weeks whilst waiting for FET cycle, which will be commence day 21 of next cycle. On basis I'm on day 3, that'll be about 50 days then. Wehey. We've got 7 embryos from a freeze all cycle and ohss is calming down now. Was pretty gutted it was freeze all as ugh just sooo looong.... However. It's FUCKING exciting being able to just go to bed without having to jack up on buserelin.

Unfortunately I'm now assuming that FET will work obvs. I know of so many IVF pregnancy/babies IRL atm so I'm very much in the "huh! Why NOT me, then" danger zone.

Told oh we will ironidiff this month off anyway.

I'd quite like to spend the next month under a GA to just make it go quicker.
