I'll summerise.

I'm EBF but have had periods for the last 9 months, cycles average 30 days.
Positive OPK's from CD 9.
Last period was a normal period. Ie not just a spot.
So finished my period 1 week ago.
Just did a pregnancy test and it's a clear positive.

I know OPK's can go positive when you are pregnant.

But I've just had a period?

So? What do you think? Do another pregnancy test next week?

Typo. Periods for 6 months. Baby is 9 months.

Pretty sure there is no such thing as false positive - so congrats!

I couldn't wait and bought one of those digital tests, it's says 2-3 weeks, but I had a period a week ago!

I'm happy but still don't quite 100% believe it.

What if I did get pregnant last month, but that period last week was an early miscarriage. Would I still show as 2-3 weeks pregnant if I had a miscarriage last week?

Pretty sure hormone levels would drop after miscarriage - they may not have cleared to zero, but pretty unlikely to say 2-3 weeks!

One of my friends had a heavy period in the month before she found out she was pregnant, she was later told she had likely had a twin pregnancy and miscaried one of them, the other is now a healthy teenager!

Really, I'd never thought of that. Can they do a test to see if that had happened?

Not sure they only realised with her when she went for 12 week scan and baby was older than expected.

I havnt rang my GP yet, was going to today but Monday's are always hard to get through. I'll ring tomorrow. Thanks.
