Congratulations, Tumtimes Flowers! Hope you're thoroughly enjoying your little girl and being a mummy.

So many babies this year- it's incredible!

Yes, Seeking- we're all thinking of you :-)

Seekingmiracles · 15/10/2016 09:55

Congratulations Tum!SmileSmile

Well little Tallulah made her way into the world by c-section on Thursday. I cannot believe it! I feel so lucky and grateful that she is really here and she's mine. I can't stop looking at her.
For everyone out there still struggling or trying to get their head around the vast array of drugs and hectic appointment schedules all I'd say is keep going, don't give up. You are far stronger than you think. I wish you all the luck in the world.
And a huge thank you to all the ladies who've helped pick me back up or pepped me along when I've needed it. You're support has been invaluable Smile

CarryOn2016 · 15/10/2016 14:07

hello Waitingforamiracle

as I live far away from epsom I managed to get intralipids and prescriptions arranged locally so am following Dr S advice but not seeing him. I am a bit anxious but I thought the stress to come to epsom would be greater for me. So am keeping fingers crossed!!

Hula2 · 15/10/2016 22:18

Tum times and Seeking - so pleased to hear your little ones have arrived safely. You both deserve this so much. Enjoy all those precious moments.

CarryOn2016 · 16/10/2016 09:26

Congrats to all the new mummies and welcome babies! So great to hear the good news.... helps me to remain positive! Thanks for sharing

sunnyday01 · 17/10/2016 09:18

Fabulous news seeking, so happy for you. Enjoy your first few weeks of motherhood xx try to take it easy with the c-section too, hard as it is!

I think that is pretty much all of us that joined at a similar time who have gone on to have babies - just shows if you keep trying you can get there, and that without Dr s, we may not be where we are.

PJ12 · 18/10/2016 19:45

Congrats to all the new mommies Flowers Hope you are enjoying those newborn snuggles. I love reading about all the new babies arriving. It gives the rest of us hope.

Well, I've been having ovulation pains today so will be back on pred in the next couple of days. Fingers crossed for a bfp this month as it has never taken me more than 2 cycles to get pregnant. But I've read about all these women, that never had issues with getting pregnant, having to wait months or even a year for a bfp after taking pred so now I'm feeling paranoid Hmm

Is anyone under the care of St Mary's? I had my first appointment there today and I found it pretty useless. I had a scan and blood tests done and was told to come back in 6 weeks for repeat blood tests. I've had all the blood test already elsewhere so I know they are going to come back fine. I asked them what their protocol will be once I'm pregnant and it is basically extra scans and "monitoring the pregnancy". If the pregnancy progresses then great and if I miscarry they will then test the tissue and come up with a treatment plan going forward. So they are basically waiting for me to have a miscarriage before providing me with a treatment plan (other than extra scans) Angry
How are you getting on Yomping?

YompingJo · 19/10/2016 12:57

pj12 Are you still seeing St Mary's as well as seeing Mr S? I've kind of assumed the Mr S treatment plan trumps everything else so i haven't even made my gp booking in appt yet, although that's more because I'm sick of making them then having to cancel them! I'm off to Epsom tomorrow, if things are still fine then I've somehow made it to 9 weeks for the first time since my very first pregnancy so I'll make the gp appt after that.

I'm ok, had a major wobble last week, symptoms dropped off and it was impossible to stay positive because that's the time for me where things always go downhill. So I went for a local private scan, marched in declaring that I didn't expect the sonographer to find a heartbeat and was prepared for bad news. Had mentally said my goodbyes in the car, told the baby it could let go if it needed to (lots of sobbing behind the steering wheel), arranged the eprc, planned to drink at least one bottle of wine and eat an entire cheesecake that evening, worked out when I'd be off the pred etc, and pretty much decided that I'm done with this. Enough now. Time to move on with our lives. "So there's a good string heartbeat," she said, "and your measurements are spot on." I nearly fainted. And the next day, symptoms were back and since then I've been exhausted, starving, feeling sick in the evenings and craving stodgy food. So I feel like crap but it's fantastic! I feel positive about tomorrow, which is scan plus intralipids.

YompingJo · 19/10/2016 12:59

*strong heartbeat. A string heartbeat wouldn't be so good.

Waitingforamiracle · 19/10/2016 13:24

That's fantastic news Yomping!! So glad everything is still OK. Hope all is well for your scan and intralipids tomorrow. Take care; hope you feel a little better soon.

PJ12 · 19/10/2016 18:42

Awww, that's great news Yomping. I'm so pleased for you. I think Mr S thinks that the 9 week mark is a bigger milestone than the 12 week one so hopefully tomorrow you will be able to breath a big sigh of relief. I'm like you where all my pregnancies (other than my first one) have ended around the 8 week mark so if I can make it to 9 weeks I'll feel a lot more relaxed. Now all I have to do is get pregnant Hmm.

I'm still following Mr S protocol. I only went to St Mary's as I want to be able to get extra scans (my local epu is awful and I don't want to go back there) and I want to avoid paying for them privately. I know I'll be very anxious in those first few weeks so it will be nice to get some reassurance whichever way it goes (the not knowing bit is the worst!).

Best of luck for tomorrow Yomping though it sounds like you will have a lovely scan tomorrow.

PJ12 · 19/10/2016 18:46

Waiting how are you? Will you be going back to see Mr S anytime soon?

Waitingforamiracle · 19/10/2016 19:41

Hi PJ12,

No plans to go to see Dr S soon. I was supposed to get my chromosome results back from the NHS on Monday, but they said they'll be another few weeks. So I'll wait till they come back and decide from there what to do/contact Dr S to see what he advises.

Oh and I was also worried about conceiving when on pred, I read the same things you did. I also usually get pregnant after around 2 cycles and was worried when I didn't this time. It took 3 cycles, so not too bad. Hopefully won't take you long. Best of luck ttc 😀

PJ12 · 20/10/2016 20:16

How did it go today Yomping?

PJ12 · 24/10/2016 12:24

Hope you're ok Yomping?

Drttc · 24/10/2016 15:40

Yes Yomping hope all is well!

PJ12 · 24/10/2016 20:25

How are you getting on Drttc? Getting a bit more sleep these days?

I'm about 3dpo (this is my second month on pred). When I saw Mr S when he gave me my blood results he said to make an apt in about 2 month's time. Does anyone know what that appt is about? I'm assuming he will give me another prescription for pred as I will be out after this go. Anything else?

Drttc · 24/10/2016 20:50

Hi PJ! Yes a little bit more sleep- he even does a 5 hour stretch when we're at our luckiest haha. Starting to get out more and rejoin society :-)

Not sure what the follow up appointment would be for... Waiting on any results? Might not be 100% necessary to book something if you don't have a matter to discuss. I usually held off until I had an issue or pressing questions!

Seekingmiracles · 26/10/2016 12:28

I was told by Louise that he likes to see you after the first 3months on pred to make sure you're ok on and not having any problems. Seems a little unnecessary but I guess he has to be careful.

How are you Seeking? :-D xx

user1471874092 · 26/10/2016 14:40

TTC for 1 year

Got these results back, they are out of normal range.

Does anyone know how it may effect my chances of conception?

I think I will need to take aspirin and heparin when I get a BFP

Thoughts?? Will I need any other treatment?

Immunoglobulin M Level 2.67 (supposed to be between 0.5 - 1.9 g/L)

DRVVT 0.8 (supposed to be between 0.85 - 1.17 ratio)

Dilute APTT 1.47 (supposed to be between 0.8 - 1.2 ratio)

“Consistent with the presence of a lupus anticoagulant by DAPTT analysis.”

Seeing my GP in a few weeks but would like as much info as possible beforehand

PJ12 · 27/10/2016 08:31

Thanks Seeking. I've been getting ok on pred so far, get a bit of insomnia towards the end but not too bad. I will be out of pred after this cycle so I guess it is a good idea to see him.
User sorry but I can't help you with interpreting your blood results. Mine were all fine so I never bothered checking what they actually were.
Still hoping Yomping is ok and just too busy to check this thread.

backtotheplanet · 29/10/2016 08:20

Hi ladies, I'm a longtime lurker, currently on Dr. S plan for high nk cells and on 4th cycle of super ovulation. I'm dealing with secondary infertility and have had 4 miscarriages.

I was wondering if anyone else had started having chemical pregnancies whilst on superovulation? I had my first chemical pregnancy after my second cycle of super ov and think I am having one again now. I'm getting a very very faint positive on a clear blue test, but it's so faint, and I would normally get a stronger response at this point. It also hasn't become stronger over the last two days. The more sensitive Internet dip strips are even fainter - barely there at all. I'm 15 days after the trigger shot so don't think that's causing a false positive... I just wondered if anyone else had been through similar whilst on this treatment.

Thanks in advance
