Hey

I posted this a while back but now that I've had my scan and got my dates and can work out how 'late' I was when testing, I wanted to show you how important it is to try to hold off testing as much as possible!

I've attached my pregnancy test pictures to show how they don't always show up early!

Best of luck with everyone TTC

Thanks for this, I think a lot of ladies on here could benefit from this. I've only ever tested before AF was due the once and I regretted it. Just makes ttc more emotional and disappointing. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy.

Hmm, no thanks. I get some people's reluctance to test early and get BFNs, but I would still do it. I go into the TWW expecting not to be pregnant, but if we hit the fertile window a couple times I will totally use cheapo tests from 10dpo or so just in case I get an early BFP. Got a line at 10dpo last time anyway..

Thank you! I put myself through so much hope/anxiety that was unnecessary. I even had a chemical in January that I only knew about due to testing early.

Wispa that's great for you but I'm just posting to show that not everything comes up earlier- if that saves some people some heart ache and anxiety then fantastic, if they want to test early then there entirely their choice!

The amount of times I see on here about people symptom spotting, early testing, chemical pregnancies, waste of money and it's emotionally draining.

Thanks Zoom kind of needed to hear this! Am actually not sure if I am late as not sure what my cycle length is after having DD as it seems to have changed (used to be 30 days, currently CD34 and BFN this morning) I have been driving myself a bit crazy testing daily since CD28 or so. I need to take a step back and breathe then retest in a few days if AF hasn't shown up by then I think.

Thanks for this zoom. It's given me some hope for this month (and a reminder not to test early next month!) Thanks again X
