Hi, I'm running a free and fun public event in central London on the history of trying to conceive, using it to think about trying to conceive today. It involves short talks with images by a visual artist, Anna Burel and me, Isabel Davis, a literary historian at a London university. We'll be talking about our project and looking particularly at odd historical fashions for looking pregnant for the non-pregnant.
