TTC no 3 at 40 .....

Hi all,

Title says it all really, have 2 lovely children who are 3 and just about to be 1 and I'm desperate for a third. Never thought I would want a third but I'm so keen for another. I'm 40 and type 1 diabetic so probably not in my peak but so keen to get a BFP. Typically DH is ill and isn't up to DTD and I'm fertile right now, can't help but feel annoyed at him which I know is wrong but just feel if this month is wasted it is another month off my ticking clock!

Using CB ovulation tests and have had a flashing high today and yesterday so expecting my 'peak' tomorrow so DH had better be up to the job so we can have at least a shot at a BFP this month!

Same boat here! 38 and Ttc no.3, this is my first month really. Took two years to conceive dd2 so I'm hoping this won't be as long. Typically I will be in my fertile window when I'm away from dh for a few days so I will be dtd the morning I leave and the evening I get back although he doesn't know it!

I should say, I did have a cp in March, although were weren't actually ttc, this is what started the ball rolling!

Hi ladies, can I join:) im 38 and TTC number 4. I have two older teenagers who have a great relationship and a little boy who has just turned 3. We have decided that it would be loverly for our youngest to have a sibling to grow up with. I'm curremy in tww.around 8dpo..fx for some BFPs soon

Newbie I hope your dh feels better soon. It's disappointing when you know you've missed an opportunity, so I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle either.

Ok so I'm feeling slightly bad, DH had bronchitis so perhaps he was ill! Needless to say I got my peak today and am depressed as this month is out as DH ain't up to much at all! Good luck to the rest of you xx

Your poor dh! You weren't to know though so don't give yourself a hard time. Concentrate on optimising your chances for next cycle

Hi ladies , thought I'd update, after feeling rotten yesterday I thought what the hell and did a first response .. Got my BFP !! 9dpo ! Did another this morning and same again , then being a bit obsessive lol did a cb digi this afternoon and got positive 1/2 weeks :) I am really chuffed just praying its a sticky bean.. I also can't believe how rough I feel and out of breath !! Fingers crossed for you all ️xx

Hi ladies, am 37 also ttc #3 but feeling quite nervous about it - dh much more keen than I so it has taken some persuasion... Did/do you all have doubts or absolutely sure you want #3?

I still have some doubts from time to time. Am I crazy to start all over again? Is it pushing my luck? Will we manage financially? So many things go through my mind. I knew I still wanted another when AF arrived and I felt really disappointed. On my first proper cycle ttc now but I was away for my fertile window so probably be disappointed again X

Hello everyone! Not sure if anyone is still reading this but if you are hello and hope you got your BFP's! Well we decided not to go for no 3 but then last night decided to give it a go so I'm now on the 2 ww. Figure if it's meant to be it will be and if it doesn't happen we still have 2 beautiful boys. Xx
